Our community keeps showing up for these boys and we can’t thank you guys enough! We have an office full of water and chips and not exactly sure who donated what! THANK YOU too anonymous donors! 🙌

Sending a HUGE thank you to MHS senior football parent, Mrs. Jennifer Ballard, for bringing brownies for our boys to celebrate their win over Lakeland last night! Seems like yesterday her son was down here! It goes by fast parents! 💨

One thing about this community—they just keep showing up for these kids. Whether they’re in The Middle now, have already moved on, or are cheering them on from the sidelines, the support never stops. And that means more to us than you know. ❤️

Thank you, Mrs. Ballard, for thinking of our boys and helping us celebrate a big Homecoming win! The brownies definitely didn’t last long. 😂

We are so incredibly thankful for our Cougar community! 🐾🏈 Munford Football as a whole is a community you won’t find just anywhere!

Some traditions are just too good not to keep: Our 8th Grade Football & Cheer Dance🏈📣

There’s something pretty special about watching our 8th graders carry on a tradition they’ve watched the classes before them do—and realizing that this year, it was finally their turn. 🥹

A huge THANK YOU to our teachers and administrators for making Homecoming Week such an awesome experience for our students! From the dress-up days and school spirit to the pep rally and all the memories made along the way, we appreciate the time, energy, and effort that went into making this week so much fun.

For our 8th graders, these are some of the “lasts” that make their final year In The Middle so special. 🐾

Another Homecoming tradition. Another memory made. 🐾

This week’s Coaches Choice Award goes to TWO rockstars who continue to show exactly what it means to be Built In The Middle. 🐾🏈 Next up is #1, Outside Linebacker Caiden Asbill.

A three-year veteran and second-year starter for our varsity program, Asbill is one of those kids who simply does not know how to quit. If practice is on, you already know where #1 is going to be. He shows up, puts in the work, takes coaching, and pushes himself every single day.

Relentless might be the best word to describe him. He plays without hesitation, without fear, and with a motor that just keeps going. He doesn’t shy away from a challenge—he goes looking for it. He’ll put himself right in the middle of the action, get back up, and be ready to do it all over again.

His coaches will tell you he’s hardworking, extremely coachable, dependable, and the definition of a team player. But there’s another description for Asbill that might fit him even better…

He’s our crash out. 😂

And we mean that in the BEST possible way. If there’s somewhere #1 needs to be, he’s getting there. If there’s a play to make, he’s going after it. No fear. No hesitation. No taking his foot off the gas. Just a straight-up GO GETTER.

For three years, we’ve watched that determination grow. He has always played like he has something to prove since 6th grade. He never lets up!

You can coach a lot of things, but you can’t coach want-to.

And #1 has a WHOLE lot of want-to. 💪

Congratulations again Caiden on earning this week’s Coaches Choice Award! Keep being relentless, kid. We’re fortunate to have had you here In The Middle all 3 years! 🐾🏈

This week’s Coaches Choice Award went to two rockstars! First up #50 Strong Guard, Ke’Siyan Wesson! 🐾🏈

This may be Ke’Siyan’s first season playing In The Middle, but he came in ready to make an impact. He knows his position, understands his assignment, and has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the trenches.

Ke’Siyan is the quiet kid — he doesn’t need to say much because his play does plenty of talking for him. He dominates on both the offensive and defensive line, making his presence felt on both sides of the ball. He’s a team player, incredibly hardworking, and brings the same relentless effort every single day.

He never misses practice and never lets his foot off the gas. Whether it’s practice or game day, you know exactly what you’re getting from #50: WORK.

And that work ethic carries straight into the classroom. Ke’Siyan is getting it done there too, maintaining ALL A’s while making his mark during his first season as a Munford Middle Cougar. 📚💪

We’re extremely fortunate that #50 found his way to The Middle this season. He came in, got to work, and quickly proved that he belongs here. Quiet kid, but you’re gonna feel that impact from #50! 🔥
