Calling all high school seniors! Join the WKU Equestrian Team on Saturday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m to learn more about our program!

Seniors will have the opportunity to ask coaches and current team members questions about the team, tour our facility, and meet the horses that make our program so special!

📍The event will be located at WKU’s Farm at our Equine Facility (406 Elrod Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101).

The WKU Stock Horse team is back home after a great weekend showing with the Tennessee Stock Horse Association at their Showdown in the Smokies!

Congratulations to all of our team members for their placings this weekend, and a special shout out to Avery Cole for being named Collegiate Novice Highpoint this weekend!

Members of the WKU Stock Horse Team are traveling to Harriman, TN this weekend to compete with TNSHA at the Showdown in the Smokies!

Meet Sophia Patino, our new president!

Sophia is from Pleasant View, TN and she is majoring in Agriculture during her time here on the Hill!

Sophia is a member of both our Western Horsemanship and Stock Horse Teams! Sophia can almost always be found helping out around the barn or loving on her stock horse, Trigger!

A fun fact about Sophia is that she got to ride horses with Post Malone for one of his music videos!

Meet Paige Burckhard, our new vice president!

Paige is from Bowling Green, KY and she is studying Psychology with a minor in Clinical and Behavioral Health!

Paige is a member of both our Western Horsemanship and Stock Horse Teams! Paige can often be found putting in extra hours at the barn, either helping out at Western or caring for her own horses at home!

A fun fact about Paige is that she has spent the summer starting her two-year-old, “Docs Gunna SmokeYa” aka H***h, that she bred and raised!

Meet Stella Davis, our new secretary!

Stella is from Bowling Green, KY and she is majoring in Agriculture with a concentration in Agribusiness and a minor in Paralegal Studies!

Stella is a member of both our Western Horsemanship and Stock Horse teams. Stella can usually be found around the barn, and she loves pampering our horses and making sure they look their very best!

A fun fact about Stella is that she has competed in pageants her whole life!

Meet Madyson Richey, our new treasurer!

Madyson is from Scottsburg, IN and she is majoring in Agriculture here on the Hill!

Madyson can often be found helping out around the farm, whether it be in the horse barn, the dairy, or elsewhere- she’s always lending a helping hand!

A fun fact about Madyson is that she had never ridden competitively before college!

Meet Avery Cole, our public relations officer for the upcoming school year!

Avery calls Bowling Green, KY home and she studies Agriculture with a concentration in Agriculture Education and Horse Science.

Avery is a part of both our Western Horsemanship and Stock Horse teams! When Avery isn’t at Western’s barn, she can be found at her family’s farm working their gaited horses!

A fun fact about Avery is that she works at a reindeer farm during the holidays!

Meet Addi Guiley, our inaugural historian and fundraising chair!

Addi calls Eaton, OH home, and she is majoring in Communication Disorders while she is here on the Hill.

Addi is a member of our Western Horsemanship team and she can often be found helping out and putting in extra hours around the barn!

A fun fact about Addi is that she has been to over 20 National Parks and has plans to visit all 63 one day!
