Music City Nationals weekend recap:

Game 1 vs GOAT Factory: Loss - we scored first but made some mistakes on defense plus gave up some hits and couldn’t overcome the deficit.

Game 2 vs Southern Force Premier : Won- was down 3-0 and battled back for a win. Started off similar to game 1 but was able to overcome the mistakes and the hits.

Game 3 vs Southern Force Warman: Tied- Started off strong offensively but the weather affected both teams on the mound resulting in a rain out.

This is the second consecutive weekend rain has shortened our weekend and the third time this fall. However we were able to take advantage of an indoor facility on Sunday and practice on our mistakes. We watched video of Saturdays games then worked hard on fundamental and situational defense.

This weekend we will travel to Alabama for the USSSA fall World Series to end our Fall 2025 season. A schedule will be posted soon.

Alliance 14u recap:

Atlanta Vipers 2030 Patterson - Loss: we were bad offensively and defensively. You have to do the fundamental things correctly against good teams.

Mojo 2030 West- Loss: we competed well and started to look like a team. Just needed a couple timely hits to draw even.

Mojo 2031 Hunter- Won: we competed even after trailing by a couple runs and found a way to win as the visiting team. Good win by the girls.

Atlanta Vipers 2030 Patterson- Loss: a repeat of game 1. They are a good team and they made us pay when we made mistakes.

Tornadoes 2K11 - Won: we were just the better team and took advantage of their mistakes. This was a fun game for the players .

Atlanta Vipers 2031 Kotula- Loss: we gave up some early runs but battled back to force ITB. As a coach you have to put everyone in positions to be successful and I feel like this loss was on me.

We will keep working on our areas of opportunity and putting these kids in successful positions so they can grow and win. However the grit and resiliency they play with is special. I hope they continue to play for the name on the front of their jerseys and for their teammates!

Due to 12u not making we got an automatic bid to Alliance Nationals next summer which only 62 bids USwide are passed out.

We will be playing 12u next weekend so we will keep working and growing this week to prepare for that.
