Ah yes, the ol' CTE method of fighting. I can't believe fighters still fall for this s**t.
Let me spell it out: professionals don't train this way. The men and women who fight for a living DON'T TRAIN THIS WAY.
Getting purposely knocked out in training isn't hardcore; it doesn't mean you're tough. All it means is that you're easier to knock out in the future, because your brain doesn't heal all the way from the damage it takes.
You wanna learn how to fight in whatever capacity, find a coach who knows what they're doing and how to apply basic athletic training principles. Don’t believe the "hardcore" hype so-called coaches like this spread around.

"Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers told the New York Times Sunday evening the shooting ended when someone hit the suspect with a handgun they'd grabbed off him and pinned him down."
The will to act. The will to protect. This person's selflessness saved lives, but this is yet another example of how fomenting hate and "otherness" leads to deadly violence.
I have students and friends who are members of the LGBTQ+ community. The stories they've been comfortable enough to tell me of times they've been targets are pretty harrowing.
But regardless of any personal friendships I may have, I stand with this community and will continue to do what I can in my capacity as a Counter Violence Specialist to provide a safe place to train and impart the skillset that's unfortunately needed to live in today's world.
What we know about the Club Q shooting that killed 5 people and injured dozens
The suspect was wounded and is in custody, police said.

WARNING: BLOOD AND DEATH. SERIOUSLY.
This incident is really a domino-chain of increasingly bad decisions, but I'm not posting it to talk about that. What I want you to see (if you decide to click the link) is how lethal and fast a knife actually is.
Logistically speaking, if you find yourself on the receiving end of a knife attack, you're very VERY unlikely to pull off any slick disarms or amazing joint locks.
Distance, agility, and a superior force option are your best bets if everything else has failed. If even those cease to be options, then physically stopping the attacker from stabbing you to death is all that's left.
That means knowing how to grapple and strike from hugging range, and having enough flight time in training to do so while someone's trying to open you up with a blade.
This was a completely unnecessary death. If someone pulls a knife or any other weapon as a threat display, THEY'VE WON. Give them their victory, let them keep their ego intact, and LEAVE if you safely can. Otherwise, it's gonna get messy.
Man stabbed in AUSTRALIA, No other info and not my video just sharing.
