CrossFit Rampage, Murfreesboro TN area. There is always only 1 division, of which is Rx'd only.
Created in 2011 because there were no other CrossFit competitions being held locally in Middle Tennessee, the Christmas Throwdown has earned the badge of the longest running competition in the M.T. Each year we've tested athletes with anywhere from 4-7 scored events spread across a single day. We think of this as most competitors last "Hoo-Rah" to end the year on a high prior to buckling down for

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the Christmas Throwdown. Saturday was phenomenal! 🎄

“HOME ALONE”
-Part B-
For time
(8:00 CAP)
6 rounds:
6 Cal Ski
3-3-5-5-7-7 Muscle Up
6 DB Snatches.
*Alternating rounds with your partner.
You do a full round, then your partner does a full round. You will continue this order until you’ve each completed 3 rounds, which is 6 for the team.
*Start and finish on the start mat.
You are allowed to tag your partner with assistance with the muscle ups, but you must have touched the line at the furthest end of your lane and come back to tag your partner. Then when they finish the muscle ups, they too must touch the line at the end of the lane before tagging you back in. This “line touch” is only relevant for the mens heats, as the ladies bar muscle ups are literally on the end line.
(However, if a female chooses not to attempt a muscle up, she must then run to the end of her lane and back in order to tag her partner in).

A good ol’ classic CrossFit Complex! Power or Squat clean it, whatever works for you, then front squat it…no thrusters allowed, and then get it overhead via whatever style lift you’d like.
Bar weight can be changed during the 2:00 rest.
Each partner can make as many attempts as they’d like.
Weight can go up or down.
Last lift must be off the ground before the buzzer.
Score is your top weight plus your partner’s top weight.

This workout starts at the 17:00 clock following “The Grinch (Part A)” which ended at 15:00.

“THE GRINCH”
(Part A)

Pretty straightforward on this one. You and your partner share 1 bar and work through the reps as fast as possible, splitting up however.
Every time a weight is complete, 1 partner will run (hopefully sprint) a 100m lap, when they return the other partner will run a 100m lap.
Athletes change their own weights.
Once all 5 bars are complete and the last athlete completes their 100m run the workout is complete.
Part B starts at minute 17.
