Good afternoon from Frisco, TX.
We have 2 referees from our association attending Region 3 Presidents Cup. They were part of a 7 Referee delegation.
Alend Mohammad and Jessica Hoeft.
Both performed very well despite the weather being warmer than usual.
They received great feedback, training, and additional tools to improve their game.
Both referees were assigned semi-final matches that concluded today.
Along with that Jessica Hoeft was 1 of 14 referees selected to referee at President Cup National Tournament representing Region 3.
Congratulations to both of them as well as the entire TN delegation who performed well and received many accolades regarding their performances.

Tonight’s AGM was held this evening and 2020 awards were handed out tonight.
Sarah McKee received her 2020 Young Female Referee Award tonight.
We also celebrated Al Baer being inducted into the Tennessee Soccer Hall of Fame. Judy Baer accepted on his behalf. The Baer’s have touched us all in our refereeing development and we are grateful for that.
It was a great night and celebrated a lot of great people.

Had the honor to assist TN’s own PRO Assistant Referee Walt Heatherly.
The whistle Jon Freemon had his 5th PRO whistle tonight and is gaining more confidence and learning with each match.
They are part of the young PRO referees moving up the ranks.
If are willing to put in the work, be coachable,patient, and wanting to learn, you can go as high as you want to go if you are willing to do those steps. You must be willing to grind.
