Had a fun night with us and two new officers! We got our two new dummies in to teach throws safely (injury wise AND covid wise). Here are the highlights from three of our officers!

Hey guys,

Originally we were supposed to start the 9th at 7:30 pm. Come to find out, they close at 7 and we didn't get the memo until just now. We have to find a new time that would work best for everyone, so I'm gonna post a poll if you guys would fill out your availability for the given times.

Tomorrow on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass at 7pm central (Aug. 11th), Dustin Stoltzfus (MAC brother 2011-2012) will be competing in the UFC Contender. His pro MMA record is 12-1-0. Tune in and cheer him on! Goodluck Dustin!!

Introducing the first part of our daily warm up routine!
Ballerina stretches: put your foot up on a surface around hip level, both of your feet facing forward; touch your toes and hold for at least ten seconds. Then turn your foot and hip over, both feet pointed to one side or the other, and touch your toes, holding for at least ten seconds. You can also add toe touches, alternating between both feet like the second and third pictures. Repeat both of these exercises for the other foot. You can also turn over to add your jackie chan push ups!

And Guard Up!
Here we have a simple combo to practice. Punch with your back fist, also called cross. Next doge back and punch one more time with your back fist. Then punch from your front fist, also called a jab. Now do a round house kick and end with a Thai Block. Raise your knee and pull your elbow down with your hand straight up, this is a great block for round kicks.
