Homecoming Week is almost here, and we need YOUR help to make it a success! There are two great ways to get involved:
🎗️ RIBBON DECORATING (Eastside Community Event)
Help tie gold ribbons on trees around Kimbrough, Plano East, McMillen, and Williams to spread some hometown spirit!
- Decorating Event: Sunday, Sept. 13th at 1:00 PM
- Take-Down Event: Sunday, Sept. 20th at 4:00 PM
Light work, about an hour or two — please bring scissors! NHS and AVID students can earn 2 service hours per event (bring your paperwork for a signature).

🏈 HOMECOMING PARADE
Join us as we show our Black & Gold spirit!
- Wednesday, September 16th at 6:00 PM
We could use donations and volunteers to help pull it off:
- Coolers with ice: Drop off at our float at Bob Woodruff Park (San Gabriel & Merriman, Plano) between 4–5:00 PM on Sept. 16th. Pick up your cooler at Plano East after the Parade/Pep Rally.
- All other donations (posters, individually wrapped candy — no chocolate): Turn in by Tuesday, September 15th. Drop-off location is on SignUpGenius.
