June Committed Club
A huge congratulations to everyone who earned a spot in this month’s Committed Club. Showing up 15+ times in a month isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being consistent. Those small decisions to walk through the door add up to stronger bodies, healthier habits, and long-term results.
If your name is on this list, don’t forget to pick up your custom June Committed Club sticker at the gym. You’ve earned it.
Not on the list this month? That’s okay—July is a fresh start.
And if you’re wondering how to get one of these fancy stickers… here’s the secret:
Show up 15 times.
Turns out the sticker machine only works when attendance does.
See you in class.

Any gym can run a class.
They can hit “start” on the clock.
They can count your reps.
They can hand out fist bumps.
They can cheer when you’re done.
But that’s facilitation—not coaching.
Real coaching is seeing movement faults before they become injuries. It’s knowing when to push and when to pull back. It’s teaching, correcting, cueing, scaling, progressing, and making every athlete better than they were yesterday.
If all you’re getting is a timer and encouragement, don’t expect extraordinary results.
If you’re looking for a gym where every class is coached with intention, where every rep matters, and where your progress is the priority, we’d love to show you the difference.
Otherwise… enjoy the fist bumps and stay exactly where you are.

Teaching Tuesday: Trigger Warning Edition
This one might ruffle a few feathers.
If your gym owners and coaches don’t regularly jump into class, follow the same programming, and train alongside their members, I’d start asking why.
Think about it…
If the workout isn’t good enough for them, why is it good enough for you?
The best coaches don’t just write workouts—they live them. They know what the stimulus feels like because they’ve experienced it. They understand where athletes will struggle, where the bottlenecks are, how long things actually take, and what needs to be adjusted because they’ve been there themselves.
When coaches train the program:
* They become better coaches.
* They gain credibility.
* They build trust.
* They create a stronger community because everyone is on the same journey.
No program is perfect every single day. Sometimes workouts miss the mark. But coaches should be willing to stand behind what they prescribe and experience it themselves.
At CrossFit Murphy, if we’re asking our members to do it, chances are we’ve done it, are doing it, or will be doing it right beside them.
That’s how we believe coaching should work.
Agree or disagree?

A new week is a new opportunity to become a stronger version of yourself.
Don’t wait for motivation to show up. Get into the gym, put in the work, and build momentum one workout at a time. And if you need a little extra accountability, grab a friend and bring them with you.
The hardest part is often walking through the door. After that, just keep moving.
Never miss a Monday.
