Truth!

Shallowing and sequencing. ⛳

If you’re trying to do either one at full speed, you may be making this harder than it needs to be.

In SC Golfers Swing Review #7, we use a simple alignment-stick drill with two pumps before hitting the ball.

The goal is to train the sequence, keep the club from getting steep and get everything working together through the downswing.

Rehearse it. Feel it. Then add speed.

Try this one on the range.

Golf is better when you practice together. ⛳

Benedict and Jesico are in the Philippines. I’m in South Carolina.

For the past couple of months, we’ve been working together remotely—building their swings, creating a plan for their practice, and holding them accountable to the work.

Now they’re seeing the results.

I’m fortunate to coach golfers all over the world 🌎, but I want to work with more golfers right here in South Carolina.

⛳ SC GOLFERS SWING REVIEW #6

Ben has only been playing for about a year, but he’s already doing something I LOVE — practicing with feedback.

No $25,000 launch monitor. No fancy setup. Just a line drawn in the sand in his backyard.

And believe it or not, that line can tell us A LOT about what’s happening in his golf swing.

In Ben’s review, we find the ONE thing I’d work on first and give him a simple drill he can start using right in his backyard.

🎥 Check out the review and let me know what you think!

The majority of tour players are STEEP in the backswing and SHALLOW in the downswing. Great point from a great teacher! David Leathem Golf Tips
