📣 MVPB Fall Registration Update 📣

As families begin registering for the fall season, we wanted to share a few important updates:

✅ The $50 Facility Fee has been removed! Following a vote by the MVPB Board of Directors, this fee is no longer part of registration. Families who have already registered and paid the facility fee will automatically receive a refund. Please be patient as refunds are processed, as Sports Connect limits the number of refunds that can be issued each day.

🙌 We’re also introducing an optional Volunteer Buyout! Instead of being charged the $100 volunteer fee at the beginning of the season, families now have the option to purchase the Volunteer Buyout during registration.

If you choose not to purchase the buyout, you can fulfill your volunteer commitment by completing a minimum of 8 volunteer hours throughout the season. This gives every family the flexibility to choose the option that works best for them.

As we continue working to keep registration as affordable as possible, we’re asking our MVPB community to come together and support our league-wide Hit-A-Thon fundraiser this Fall. Every family’s participation helps make a difference and keeps our league strong.

What a District Tournament run for MVPB!

Over the past week, MVPB All-Star teams competed across Southeast Region District tournaments representing Murrieta and our community. By Championship Monday, 9 MVPB teams had advanced to title games.

And all 9 came home District Champions.

🏆 Mustang 10U Black
🏆 Mustang 10U White
🏆 Mustang 10U Red
🏆 Bronco 12U Black

One story stands out.

Just two years ago, MVPB didn’t field a single Mustang All-Star team.

The players were here. The talent was here. But there wasn’t enough interest to build the teams.

Dedicated volunteers, coaches, parents, and league leaders committed themselves to building something better.

Fast forward to today.

MVPB sent five Mustang Division teams to District play.

All five won District Championships.

From zero teams to five District Champions in two years.

That doesn’t happen by accident.

Coaches invest in players, families believe in the vision, volunteers give their time, and kids show up ready to work.

But the Mustang story wasn’t the only success story.

From Shetland to Pinto to Bronco, MVPB teams competed with heart, toughness, and pride. Every banner was earned.

We’re grateful to everyone who continues to support and believe in MVPB. Growth isn’t always easy, but weekends like this are a reminder of what can happen when a community rallies around its kids.

Whether your player is stepping onto a field for the first time or chasing championship banners, MVPB remains committed to helping kids develop, compete, build confidence, create friendships, and fall in love with baseball.

The 10U All-Stars Black are officially the Southeast Region Mustang District Champions! 🎉🔥

After an incredible run, these boys battled their way to the top and earned a huge reward — a direct berth to the Regional Tournament! 💪⚾

From hard work and dedication to teamwork and determination, this group has shown what it means to compete at a championship level. We couldn’t be prouder!

Today, let’s put the focus where it belongs.

On the countless hours they’ve spent practicing, competing, overcoming adversity, and representing our community with pride.

Tonight, Murrieta Valley Pony Baseball and Murrieta Heat will have 8 teams competing for District Championships, with another team battling in a semifinal for the opportunity to play for a title later in the evening.

⚾ Mustang 10U Red (Heat) vs High Desert Commanders

⚾ Bronco 12U Black (Heat) vs High Desert

💪 Bronco 12U Red will battle Orangecrest in the semifinal with a championship berth on the line.

We also want to recognize our 5U team, who fought all the way to the semifinals and came up just one run short, our 8U MP team that reached the semifinals and continues their summer journey, and our 11U Heat team that represented Murrieta proudly in International Tournament play.

And congratulations to our Mustang 10U Black All-Stars, who are already bringing home hardware as SoCal District 2 Champions! 🏆

This is what community baseball is all about.

Kids from our area competing, learning, growing, building friendships, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

No matter the score tonight, we’re proud of every player, coach, volunteer, and family representing our city and league.
