Hey everyone!
First off, THANK YOU for those who signed up a team for the 2nd Annual Empire Wrestling Golf Fundraiser! We are full!
We’re getting closer to tournament day, so we wanted to send out all the details — and let you know about all the perfectly legal ways you can MAKE YOUR GAME BETTER.
Because let's be honest… some of you are going to need all the help you can get. 😂
⛳ THE IMPORTANT STUFF
📅 DATE: SEPTEMBER 12TH
Wahkonsa Country Club

💰 $250 per team / $62.50 per player (cart included)
⏰ Check-In: Starts at 7:45 AM
📋 Quick Rules Meeting: Approximately 8:45 AM
🏌️ Shotgun Start: 9:00 AM
Every golfer will receive a CUSTOM EMPIRE GOLF TOWEL this year!
So even if your golf game is terrible, at least your towel will look good.
🏌️ HOW THIS THING WORKS
We’re playing 4-Man Best shot with a shotgun start.
We’ll also have a Two-Putt Rule to help keep things moving.
Here’s the deal:
You hit the green.
You get two putts.
If you don't make it in two, you take a +1.
Therefore, we strongly recommend finding the two best putters on your team.
If nobody on your team can putt… well, good luck. 😂
The goal is to have a great day, raise some money for Empire, and NOT be stuck on the course until dinner.

Before we tee off, we’ll have a SURPRISE AUCTION!

You'll have to be there to find out!
🎯 MORE WAYS TO MAKE YOUR GAME BETTER
We’ll have several optional games and upgrades available throughout the tournament.
And yes…
They are designed to help you.
And yes…
They also help us raise money for Empire.
It's basically charity with a scorecard. 😂
🎯 PAR 5 ADVANTAGE GAMES — $5 PER PLAY
Our par 5s will have special advantage games that can help your team.
$5 per play.
These are designed to give you a little boost while also helping us raise money.
We'll explain everything at the tournament.
🧶 YARN — BUY YOUR WAY TO A BETTER DRIVE
Need a little extra distance?
We've got you covered.
$5 = 5 yards
$15 = 15 yards + 5 FREE yards
That's 20 yards for $15!
Because apparently buying yards is easier than hitting the ball farther.
Use them wisely!
🎀 PINK TEES — GET A LITTLE CLOSER
Want to tee it up from the Junior/Women’s Tee Box?
You can!
$3 per tee
$10 for 9 holes
$20 for 18 holes
⚠️ LIMITED SUPPLY!
Pink tees are first come, first served and available until sold out.
So if you want them, don't wait until you're standing on the first tee asking where they went.
🃏 MULLIGANS — $5 FOR 4!
You read that right.
$5 gets your team FOUR mulligans.
That's $1 per second chance.
There is a 4-mulligan maximum per team, so use them wisely.
And remember…
We're trying to keep this tournament moving.
We are NOT trying to spend 11 hours watching you hit the same tee shot. 😂
🏆 GOLDEN GOLF BALL
Now we're talking.
You can purchase:
1 Golden Golf Ball — $30
2 Golden Golf Balls — $50
Maximum of 2 per team
The Golden Golf Ball gives you a hole-in-one on selected holes.
And here's where things get interesting…
You can actually play the hole first and then decide whether you want to use it based on your score.
Didn't like your shot?
Maybe the Golden Ball comes out.
Made a great shot?
Maybe you save it.
We'll have specific rules at the tournament to make sure this doesn't create a giant traffic jam on the course. If teams start catching up to each other, we may require the Golden Golf Ball to be used before moving forward.
Because again…
WE DON'T WANT TO BE ON THE COURSE ALL DAY. 😂
🏆 AWARDS — SOMEBODY HAS TO WIN
We'll split everyone into THREE FLIGHTS.
There will be cash prizes AND trophies for the top three teams in each flight!
We'll also have individual awards for:
🏆 Longest Drive
🏆 Closest to the Pin
🏆 Longest Putt
So start stretching now.
We don't want anyone pulling a hamstring trying to win the longest drive.
💰 50/50 RAFFLE
We'll also have a 50/50 raffle during the event.
You put money in.
We draw a winner.
You take home half.
The other half goes toward supporting Empire.
Everybody wins…
