This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write… After 2 years of coaching travel softball, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to step away. 💔
This game has been so much more than balls, strikes, wins, and losses. It’s been a life. A place where I’ve watched kids grow not just as players, but as young adults finding their confidence & learning how to fight through adversity!
Thank you to the players who called me "Coach." You gave me a reason to show up every day! Watching you learn, struggle, succeed, and become better versions of yourselves was amazing to be a part of. You’ve all left a mark on my heart that I'll always have.
To all the parents.. Thank you for trusting me with your kids, for your support, for your sacrifice, and for being part of this exciting ride! I'm appreciative of all things you all did behind the scenes to make this team as great as it was!
I also want to say thank you to my coaching staff Abby, Dana, & Ron! They stuck by my side through thick & thin! I'm truly appreciative of the high level of commitment you all had for this team! When I first started, I had no experience coaching & no knowledge of the game. I can say that I had an organization President, Red Pastor, along with multiple families who believed & trusted me. You all have no clue how much this meant!
This isn’t goodbye to softball. It never could be.. It’s just a new chapter. One I didn’t think would come this soon..
