THE VOYAGERS ADD MORE FIREPOWER TO THEIR SCORING ARSENAL; SIGN SMITH AND NANNA TO NEW DEALS

FORMER HOPE COLLEGE STANDOUTS FINISHED FOURTH AND FIFTH IN TEAM SCORING IN FIRST YEAR AS PROS

MUSKEGON, MI --- The Muskegon Voyagers, the MIHL’s (Michigan Independence Hockey League) all-time winningest team, continue with great purpose building their roster for the upcoming 2026-27 pro hockey season. Two of last season’s top-flight first-year pros are back in tow and ready to go with the club and the newly-expanded twelve teams’ League.

On this date, the Voyagers organization is proud to announce that former Hope College right wings DYLAN SMITH and JAKE NANNA have acceded to terms and signed their respective Muskegon contracts for the 2026-27 MIHL season. Adhering to club policy, terms of the contract deals were not disclosed.

The next parade the Muskegon Voyagers are participating in, is the Northside Summer Spectacular Parade on Thursday, Aug 6 at 7PM in North Muskegon.

This is a special parade where residents have been known to soak Terry Ficorelli with their garden hoses while the team has the super soakers spraying the parade crowd.

Fans, if you want to join us in the parade wearing your Voyagers gear and shooting the super soakers, please contact Terry Ficorelli [email protected] so we know who and how many are coming to participate with us.

Super last minute getting the info to share. There is a Voyagers training camp TONIGHT at 9:00pm at Lakeshore Sports Centre.

If you thought about playing pro hockey for your home town team, show up at Lakeshore Sports Centre tonight dressed and ready to play prior to 9pm. 18+ or older. Please go to the locker rooms straight ahead when entering the South entrance to the rink. Introduce yourself to the guys and ask who is in charge of practice.

Fans can come and watch and it's COOL inside the rink.

Thanks to Howard, Tom, Terry and Jhett for participating in the White Lake Area 4th of July Parade Salute to the 250th America Celebration this morning. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough people to use our super cannon soakers to keep the crowd COOL!

MUSKEGON, MI --- Excitement is already being generated for the Muskegon Voyagers seventh season with the MIHL (Michigan Independence Hockey League) having grown to twelve teams for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The League’s all-time winningest team has added two more stellar stalwarts to their lineup as the club’s roster construction continues for the new campaign.

On this date, the Voyagers organization is proud to announce that standout goaltender DEVON LAY and promising young forward WILL HEALY have assented to terms and signed their Voyagers contracts for the 2026-27 season. Adhering to club policy, terms of these two deals were not disclosed.
