1st in Chicken with perfect score 180.
10th in Ribs
2nd in Pork with perfect 180
And we don’t want to talk about brisket, scored great on taste but missed the tenderness by a mile.
Ran some new rubs from Double Barrel BBQ-OK and definitely not disappointed. Congrats Munny's Stove on their GC SuperSwine BBQ for RGC.

Beautiful morning to fire up the drums for Smoking on the Plains. Using Tahlequah’s own Double Barrel BBQ-OK rubs, good stuff.

So in addition to the launch of our new rubs we have also been putting together a group of brand ambassadors to help represent us. We could not be happier with the group we have, all accomplished cooks and even better people! Here is to a great 2024!

Our first cook of the year is in the books. We surprised ourselves at Lake Views & BBQ Wagoner, OK coming away with our first ever GC. Really appreciate all the shout outs and text messages from everyone.

Cans are pumping heat and rolling smoke. Big meats sweated down and ready to go on.

Cherokee Strip Cookoff in Ponca City was a blast. Great company and great weather. We got 5th in ribs, 10th in pork, and 7th in brisket. We don’t need to talk about the chicken. Congrats to all that heard their name called.

Finally out cooking again. Only the second time able to cook this year. Smoke is rolling at Que for a Cause in Tahlequah, OK. Kristi and Okie said they are casual indoor observers this cook.

Cherokee Strip cookoff is in the books. This was a tough cook because we lost our mascot, our Chihuahua Pedro this week. Considered not going but glad we did. No call in chicken, they said it was too spicy. No call in Ribs, too spicy again. Had walks in pork and brisket. Ended up 10th overall. Next stop the Royal. Congrats once again to Razorracks for the GC.
