Being a "coach" to peers is different than being a coach to kids. Instead of talking about school and seeing them grow up into adults, I get to see them mature in diffrent times in their lives- it's nice. Seeing the younger guys starting families, graduating college is rewarding- it's a sense of pride. Seeing someone grind their butt off and earn a promotion- like Josh earning his blue belt the other night was so awesome.
Then there is other side of it like what we are experiencing. Making a great friend and training partner like Tyler Morgan and having our last training session together as he moves his life to OKC. It's exciting, we are happy for you but man we are all gonna miss you.
