It’s taken me the entire weekend to process the magnitude of what happened…one of my personal and professional goals that I had for my dance company, BFML, finally happened! 🙌🏽 Last year in 2025, I set the goal to bring in a guest Folklorico teacher. Divine timing is always perfect because it finally happened! And I could not be happier! ✨ Thank you, Maestro Pablo Sánchez for visiting Idaho and sharing your love of Folklorico (and specially the state of Jalisco!) with us all. 💕 It was a privilege to learn from you! Thank you for sharing your story and your joy. How wonderful to learn more about our beautiful culture and heritage, and to have shared it all together in community. Thank you to Oyamel Folkloric Dancers, mi Amiga Gloria Muñoz and the dancers from St. Mary’s Boise, and my own Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo dancers who attended. It was a fantastic night! Sweaty and hot, but still fantastic! Thank you to Mariana | Folk Visual Artist ⟢ David / Donde se vive el folklore J. Pablo Sánchez for sharing your time and talents. What an incredible experience. Big weekend ahead for Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo and Studio Alma Folklórica in Boise! 🎉 On Friday, September 25, BFML is honored to welcome, and host, Maestro Pablo Sanchez-from la Universidad de Guadalajara, and the Ballet Folklorico de México de Amalia Hernández- for a Jalisco Master Class! I cannot wait!! This has a been a goal of mine since 2025. And now today is that day! 🙏🏽 🥹 We’ll be partnering with our friends from Oyamel Folkloric Dancers, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Boise too! To our friends at Ballet Folklorico Yareth de Idaho- we will miss you! 😢 (Raincheck for sure!) 😉 Can’t wait to see so many Folklorico dancers in our studio! 🎉🪅

THEN, on Saturday, September 26th from 10:30 to 11:30 AM is the new launch of “Cuentitos Y Cultura”, a bilingual story time featuring music and movement perfect for dancers ages 2 to 6 years old! This will also take place at studio Alma Folklórica in Boise. For those of you who may remember “Mami and Me”, it’s had a makeover!

The FIFA World Cup may be over, but summer 2026 will forever belong to the memories of the entire world coming together to celebrate, support, and inspire joy. It was an incredible honor and a total blast celebrating Team Mexico with everyone! The pride de ser mexicanos orgullosos will forever be in our blood! We had everyone chanting, “Y Si Si!” until the very last moment. And maybe it didn’t end the way we wanted, but a todos modos it was puro fiesta! 🎉And to lexy sometimes legzi How your photography is such a treasure. Gracias, Amiga. Gracias, Boise. Gracias, Gente. Gracias, Mexico. May I be Mexican in every lifetime. 🇲🇽🎉❤️⚽️

Noche de Serenatas, May 2026. Amazing amazing collaboration with Opera Idaho, Mariachi Sol de Acapulco, Idaho Flamenco, the Boise Basque Choir, and Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo. It was such a magical night! Thank you to everyone who attended and shared photos and videos of us performing with Opera Idaho and with Mariachi Sol De Acapulco. Such a party!
The music was beautiful, the venue was gorgeous….the weather? Well, we quickly pivoted, and still managed to dance ourselves silly! Nonetheless, what an incredible experience, and what a wonderful night! Grateful for the opportunity to share our time and talents! ❤️🙏🏽🎉

So proud to share that Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo will be performing in collaboration with Opera Idaho, Flamenco Idaho, Mariachi Sol De Acapulco, the Boise Basque Choir, and the Boise Philharmonic! BFML has been working hard, and we are so excited and so proud to be bringing the Mexicanidad to the Opera in Idaho! 🇲🇽 This night will be truly special, and you’re invited! 🎫 Monday, May 25, 2026 Opera Idaho presents, “Noche de Serenatas” at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in Boise. Pack your picnic, and we will see you there!
