Here’s an update on our NDG Club Meeting at the new Fairgrounds, March 25, 2026.
We created a club organization as follows:
President - Todd Rainwater (in absentia we voted Todd in, for now 😉)
Vice President- Matchbox Mike Harter
Treasurer - Steven Polenski
Secretary - OPEN position - MbM for now
Course Maintenance Supervisors - Josh Milne and Nate Johnson
Tournament Directors - Nate Johnson (local tournaments, Bagtag, Cobblestone Cup) Michael Gollin - annual NDG Open
Social Media Director- Rick Elwell
Social Chairman - Dave Beaumont
Dog Walker Liaison - Fletcher Bell
Development - OPEN position, Ron Lefebvre has been nominated

Thanks for everyone who attended and for the Fairgrounds for hosting us. Specific notes and issues discussed in the meeting to follow, as well as the date for our next club meeting. And as always, thank you Richard, and thank you Todd Rainwater. 

Disc golf club meeting tonight Wed March 25 at Fairgrounds 5:30 PM food will be provided and bring a couple of putters.

The Pro day usually takes a bit longer to sell out, but with how the sport has grown lately, who knows how quick that day may sell out this year.

ATTENTION NDG Open Fans!

Registration for the 2022 Nantucket Disc Golf Open (Sep 10-11) begins TOMORROW NIGHT AT 8PM ET!

The links to register are below. FYI, the Amateur day usually sells out in about 2-3 minutes, so if you want in for that day, set your alarms and register RIGHT at 8pm ET. The Pro day usually takes a bit longer to sell out, but with how the sport has grown lately, who knows how quick that day may sell out this year.

Also, as a reminder, the hostel on island has closed permanently and it doesn't lool like we will be offering camping this year, so if you register tomorrow, please do so under the assumption that you will either a) be able to find and secure your own accommodations on island for the tournament or b) simply be coming over to the island the morning of your tournament on the 6:10 am Hy-Line ferry from Hyannis and returning to the mainland at the conclusion of the tournament.

There are very few reasonably-priced accommodations available on the island in September, but there are some fairly reasonable lodging options available not only in Hyannis, but very close to the ferry terminals there, so staying the night in Hyannis the night before your tournament and walking over to the ferry terminal in the the morning might work well for some. You can also join the Nantucket Huckers Facebook group and there is a chance you may be able to find a local there who could offer you lodging at their home.

I wish things were different and we were able to offer accommodations and/or camping on island like we have in the past, but things have just changed so much and gotten so much more expensive on island, this is just where we are at this point.
