And then we want to tell you why, done right, a night on this water is one of the most extraordinary experiences on Earth.

Because Tomales Bay deserves both: respect and wonder.

🔥 On the Road with NVP 🔥

Country roads. Nocturnal kayaking. Amphibious beach landings. S’mores around a campfire on a secluded beach under the stars.

This is what a Sunday night should feel like.

Two Sundays a month, peak season only — get it while you still can.

Go into work Monday a little tired… and a lot more inspired. 🛶✨

Los Carneros Birding Tour 🍇🦆

The birds are back.

As the first shorebirds return to the Carneros Estuary, another seasonal transition is underway. Veraison is wrapping up in the surrounding vineyards, and the grapes are beginning to develop the flavors that will define this year’s vintage.

There’s no better time to experience where world-class w**e country meets one of California’s most remarkable tidal wetlands.

Join us for a peaceful paddle through the estuary as migrating birds return, wildlife becomes more active, and Napa Valley begins its journey from summer into harvest.

Los Carneros Birding Tours are now underway.

Talk about a good omen…

Double-crested cormorants covered every inch of Hog Island last night—a sure sign the bay was alive.

Then, the unexpected happened.

Not one… TWO herring launched themselves straight into our kayaks! 🐟💥

This is Cameron holding the fish that smacked him right in the face. 😂 Around here, we call that a sign of good fortune.

So we’re making it official…

Cameron just won a FREE Carneros Estuary adventure with Napa Valley Paddle this summer.

Cha-Ching! 🎉

Sometimes the fish choose you.
