The Brookdale Bucs Swim Team will be parading their way through the neighborhood this evening starting between 6:15pm and 6:30pm! Come outside and cheer on our neighborhood swim team and coaches to the championship meets!

Come out and enjoy the excitement of Brookdale Bucs home swim meets, along with the delicious food our grill is serving up all summer long! Burgers, brats and hot dogs hot off the grill. On Saturdays, breakfast sandwiches are served from 8:30-9:30am, then lunch through 11:00am. Seating is available in the pavilion and picnic areas. Bring your family, cheer on your neighborhood swim team, and enjoy great food and the fun spirit.

Join us tomorrow night for our annual Superhero & Angie Strong Night! Come dressed as your favorite superhero as we honor one of our own superheroes, Angie Beran.
In March 2019, Angie was diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer. After an 18-month battle, the cancer became metastatic. Throughout her journey, Angie was determined to live life to the fullest and make as many memories as possible with her husband, Matt, and their three children, all Bucs swimmers. In July 2021, we said goodbye to Angie, but her strength, courage, and love for her family continue to inspire our community. This annual event is one small way we help ensure her beautiful legacy lives on.
Angie Strong swim caps ($10) and bracelets ($5) will be available for purchase at the meet. Cash, check, Zelle, and Venmo will be accepted.
Net proceeds will benefit the Matt & Angie Beran Community Trust, whose mission is to support children who have lost a parent, helping them continue participating in sports, activities, and other meaningful opportunities.
We'll also have the Billy Bricks Pizza Truck in the Brookdale parking lot serving delicious thin-crust, Neapolitan-style pizza.
We hope you'll join us for a special evening of community, remembrance and supporting a great cause!

Any current or former swimmers are invited to this fun-filled day of friendly competition—it's not required that you belong to a swim team. All participants will be assigned to either the Black or Gold team, and will be scored based on these teams. The day kicks off with a progressive relay, and the meet will conclude with a hilarious "mystery" relay that's guaranteed to cause some MAYHEM!
