Happy Earth Day! 🌍🌱
At RSA, we believe that pushing yourself in your sport is just one part of becoming your best self— understanding your impact on the world around you matters too.
No matter what sport you play, we all benefit from making the world a healthier place to live in. The same discipline, respect, and responsibility you bring to your game can help protect our planet and shape the future you’re working toward.
Here are some simple habits that can make a big impact over time:
🌱Pick up trash/don’t leave trash behind at your practice site
🌱Cut down on single use plastics by bringing a reusable water bottle to practices and games
🌱Carpool with teammates to trainings and matches to reduce your carbon footprint (and build team chemistry!)
🌱Donate old equipment or gear to local programs rather than throwing it away
Part of being a well rounded student-athlete means striving for greatness—in your sport, your goals, and in making the world a healthier place for all.

Happy International Goalkeeper Day! 🥅🧤⚽️❌
Being a goalkeeper is one of the most challenging and important positions on the field. With a unique combination of physical and mental demands, the keeper truly has to do it all: kick, dive, throw, punch, catch, jump, and refocus immediately after a mistake. On top of that, bruises, bumps, and broken fingers are just part of a normal days work. 😅
Hear from some of our RSA athletes and alumni that fully embrace (and enjoy!) the pressure and scrutiny that comes with playing this special role on their teams!

Happy National Student-Athlete Day!
🎓📚🎾🏀🏈⚽️🏐🥎⚾️⛳️🥍
Created in 1987 and observed annually on April 6th, National Student-Athlete Day provides an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of high school and college students that have excelled in both academics and athletics.
Being a high-level athlete while also succeeding in the classroom requires a daily balance of managing a busy schedule, intense physical training load, and tiring mental load. We are so proud of all our athletes that are putting in the work everyday to be the best version of themselves.
Balancing school and sport is not always easy, but RSA believes it is a great way to develop discipline, learn time management, create social connections, and generally live a healthy, well-balanced life.

To close out March, National Women’s History Month, we want to recognize some of the trailblazers who helped shape women’s sports into what it is today.
These women didn’t just compete; they changed what was possible.
➡️ Hélène de Pourtalès: One of the first female Olympians and gold medalists (1900)
➡️ Gertrude Ederle: First woman to swim the English Channel, breaking the men’s record at the time (1926)
➡️ Alice Coachman: First Black woman to win Olympic gold (1948)
➡️ Kathrine Switzer: First woman to officially run the Boston Marathon (1967)
➡️ Billie Jean King: Redefined the landscape of women’s tennis (1973)
➡️ Danica Patrick: First and only woman to win an IndyCar race (2008)
And while progress has been made, the conversation isn’t finished…
The future of women’s athletics will be shaped by the next generation of trailblazers; by those willing to lead, compete, and raise the standard.
We believe the next name on a future list like this… is already putting in the work today.
