Join us Thursday, November 9 from 4:00-6:30 at 91 9th Street South for drinks and snacks. At Fit For You, we have so much to be thankful for this holiday season. One year ago today we were figuring out how to rebuild after Hurricane Ian flooded the studio and the city of Naples. Many of you have suffered through the lose of your home and personal belongings. BUT, we are coming back stronger then ever and it’s time to celebrate! We would love for you to join us to celebrate our 9 month anniversary date after finally opening in January of 2023.

We have had a blast the last few months growing together and building an amazing, powerful health and wellness studio. My dream was to create a place where golfers, tennis players, and pickleball players could get stronger and more athletic. And I wanted to provide HOPE to people who have become physically lost. And that is exactly what we are doing every day! You can get stronger. You can have more energy. And you can live a better life. No matter what “storm” has washed up in your life.

Join us on Thursday, November 9th from 4:00 to 6:30 pm for cocktails, food and good vibrations to celebrate the start of the holiday season. Stop by for a Bemer session, bring a friend or grab a glass of wine on your way to dinner. We would love to see you!

Holiday discount specials will be available to purchase and as always we will have a drawing for fun prizes. Our good friend Emily Stephens from Prime IV will be at the studio answering questions about vitamin drips, weight loss options and immunity/hydration drips.

Trainer Tip:

Squats are are great exercise to improve lower body strength and mobility and well as core strength. When done properly, squats can greatly improve your overall performance. Some common issues we see when it comes to improper squat form are knees going past the toes, knees inward and squatting too deeply, thus compromising form. Proper form when squatting is important to avoid injury and putting unnecessary pressure on our joints. In this graphic, Allison is demonstrating some of those issues mentioned, shown in the bottom images. The top two images demonstrate proper form, notice that her knees are in line with her ankles and are not caving inward. Her chest is facing forward. It is important to note that a smaller range of motion with proper form always wins over deep squats. As you continue to improve, so will your mobility and being able to go deeper into those squats while maintaining proper form.
