The 12/3/30 treadmill method was created by fitness influencer Lauren Giraldo and involves running on a treadmill at a 12% incline for 30 minutes, broken up into three 10-minute segments. During each 10-minute segment, the runner alternates between a speed of 3.5 mph and 6 mph, with a 30-second rest in between each speed change.
