Great training Tuesday night! Just a reminder. There will be NO karate classes on October 3.

In Karate, as in life, sometimes victory is survival! Learning to block well can give us the time necessary for a solution to present itself. .life

Based on continuing tornado warnings in the southwest Florida area, we will not be having karate classes tonight. We will be back on the mat next week. Everyone stay safe! Will see you all next week! -Pastor Chris

Karate Family!

We will be having Karate tonight. I typically follow the school schedule. The schools have canceled activities after 4:00 PM today. However, as I look at all the tracking information, it doesn't seem likely we'll have much of the storm until late tonight and tomorrow. It also doesn't have us taking a direct hit in Naples.

However, I understand entirely if folks stay home tonight. The boys and I will be at church holding karate classes. Please do what is best for you and your family, and I hope to see you there tonight. Many Blessings!

This is a schedule reminder for this coming week! We're back on the mats Tuesday night! Going to have a great year!

We will have a new schedule to give more people the opportunity to train and grow with us. Remember that ages are loose here to accommodate needs and training levels. Here it is:

Nina Warriors: 5:30-6:20 (10 and under generally)
Samurai Warriors: 6:30-7:20 (Over 10 generally)
Wasabi Warriors: 7:30-8:20 (Over 10 generally)

If you were training last year at the 7:30 class (older kids) you still are. The earlier class is backing up to 5:30 to allow for a new open class for new students coming in this school year. Any questions just let me know and we'll get the classes assigned and adjusted if needed during the first couple of classes.

We don’t do a lot of knuckle push-ups in our dojo, but you get the point! Hard work, and discipline pays off! Will be back on the mats Tuesday, 22 August. Looking forward to seeing you all! .life

Pastor Chris Surber offers "Matsunoki Martial Arts" classes on Tuesday evenings during the school year. 2023-24 school year classes begin August 22nd.

5:30 -6:20 PM - Little Warriors- up to age 10.

6:30 -7:20 PM - Ephesians 6 Class - over age 10.

7:30-8:20 PM - Galatians 5 Class - over age 10.

*Ages are flexible at Sensei's discretion depending on family circumstances/sibling groups etc.

Christian Karate classes begin Tuesday evening August 22 according to the following schedule. Please register in advance. And for the under 10 year old class, children can just show up and register. But I need to know who will be joining the new class starting at 6:30 PM. We have some new families. Folks who have been bringing their kids to the 730 class will continue to come to that class unless they’ve already spoken to me about changing classes. Blessings!
