There’s nothing quite like it.
The sound of the waves 🌊
The sandy 🏖️ beneath you.
The smell ocean air.
The ocean breeze cooling you.
The sun ☀️ kissing your skin.
The dolphins 🐬 we often see.
And I haven’t even touched on the feeling you get from flowing through each pose to the beat of the ocean waves. Your breath 😌 and your movements 🧘🏻 sync with one another with ease. Who doesn’t want to keep your body pure and clean for the soul to reside in?! I mean, doesn’t that sound lovely🥰 It’s def easier said than done ✅ It’s something that I work toward constantly, nutrition wise 🥗 fitness wise 💪 spiritually 🙏 emotionally 😊…. Some days it feels like a lot. Am I alone? Some things that help me stay grounded include prayer & meditation, surrounding myself with people that love and support me and also hold me accountable, meal prep, using a fitness tracker. I hope you will find some of these suggestions helpful. Join us for a 60 minute gentle yoga 🧘‍♀️ as we work toward these goals. 📆 Thursday ⏰ 9am 📍Vanderbilt Beach 💰$15 Drop ins welcome or 5 for $50. Show yourself some love this week. Attend a yoga 🧘‍♀️ class, take a walk 🚶🏻‍♀️, lift some weights 🏋️‍♂️, move in a way that is different 💃🏻. Our bodies are amazing 💪and capable of so much more than we think. They also require attention 🥰 and love ❤️ from us. Feed 🥗them well, show them love 💗 , give them plenty of rest 🛌, allow them time to play ⛹️and just be.

While it is human nature to want to be with other humans, maybe even in spite of what they’re doing, remember YOUR TRUE NATURE. Sure, it can seem much easier just to fall into line with everyone around you and become a part of the crowd, and sometimes that’s ok. But what calls you, what lights you up? Each of us is different, like snow flakes, and we all bring something special to the table. If we all just become followers life would be empty. Follow your TRUE NATURE. Remembering - Not all paths in life are lit. Strike a flame and go your own way. Afterall, where would we be if Columbus had not followed his? Or Einstein, Franklin and so many more that lit a flame and went down their own path. Don’t let fear get in your way!

February is the month of love 💗 SELF LOVE is what I would challenge you to practice this month. The best way to teach others how to love you is by showing yourself love.
-🥗🍱Give yourself a little extra time to prepare some beautiful healthy meals. It truly does feed the soul.
-🥤Drink - somewhere around 60oz per day is a good overall average. Add some lemon juice and Himalayan salt to replace your electrolytes!
-🛌 Get plenty of sleep. Establish a bedtime and try to stick to it each night. Have a little bedtime ritual, ie changing into comfy jammie’s, apply some lovely smelling lotion, brush your teeth and hair. You’re sending signals to your body that it’s time to go to sleep.
-🏊🏻‍♀️ And of course, get some exercise each day. Choose something you enjoy so that you don’t dread it.
- 🤗 Hug yourself and hug each other! Hugs are so important for our wellbeing.
