It was truly an honor to guide this beautiful group of women through a Pilates class this morning. As they gather to celebrate the bride, their presence for one another reflects something deeply meaningful—an atmosphere of support, admiration, and genuine connection.
Wishing the bride all the very best as she steps gracefully into this next chapter of her life, surrounded by such love.

There is a quiet moment at the end of class that is often mistaken for “just rest.” But Savasana is so much more than stillness—it is integration.
It is where the body absorbs the effort, where the breath softens into its natural rhythm, and where the mind is invited to release its constant grasping. In this space, the nervous system recalibrates, shifting from doing to simply being.
Savasana teaches us something rare and beautiful: that restoration is not earned through exhaustion, but cultivated through presence. It is in these final moments that the practice reveals its deeper purpose—not just strength or flexibility, but awareness, surrender, and peace.
Savasana is an invitation to stay. To be still. To receive.
Because sometimes, the most important part of the practice is the part where nothing is asked of you at all.

There is a quiet kind of strength found in the gentle act of opening the heart.
In a world that often asks us to brace, protect, and hold everything together, heart-opening poses دعوت us into something softer—something braver. They ask us to lift the chest, broaden the collarbones, and create space not only in the body, but within the spirit.
To open the heart is to practice vulnerability.
To soften the armor.
To trust that expansion is safe.
With each backbend, each subtle lift through the sternum, we release what has been held too tightly—old stories, guarded emotions, the weight of what we’ve carried for too long. In their place, we invite in breath, lightness, and possibility.
Heart openers are not just shapes we create with the body; they are experiences we allow ourselves to feel.
So today, move with intention.
Breathe into the spaces that feel resistant.
Let your body lead you gently toward openness.
And remember—true strength is not found in how well we protect the heart, but in our willingness to open it.
Please join us on the beach this week. M/T - Sheila, W/F - Lo, Sun - Alex Vanderbilt Beach 9am. Suitable for all levels. Bring a large towel or blanket and water. Drop-ins welcome $15 or grab a class pass 5 classes for $60.
