Help me congratulate Patrick Seay, who successfully completed his green belt examination last night here in Naples! Based on his performance and his ability to confidently answer all required questions without hesitation, we can certainly recognize the preparation and effort he put into this test. He did an awesome job!

We are truly appreciative and humbled to have had the support of the Hombu Dojo, with Professor Randy Smith in attendance, along with Senseis Dave Witt, Robert Pichardo, Jesus Chavez, and Carlos Ayala, all present for the test.

Celebrating 50 Years of Niseido Ju Jitsu

This past weekend, we celebrated a monumental milestone—the 50th anniversary of Niseido Ju Jitsu. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible efforts of Prof. Randy Smith, who truly outdid himself in orchestrating this special occasion. Attendees left energized and inspired, grateful for the opportunity to be part of this historic moment.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and continues to support Niseido Ju Jitsu, whether as past, present, or future members. Over the course of 50 years, many events and memories have shaped our journey, but one constant has remained—Professor Rick Riccardi, along with his senior students, Prof. Mile and Prof. Nick, who have been pillars in our community.

Service is packed this morning at Destiny Church Naples! Making a huge difference in the community.

We had our end of the year bowling party last night with 16 in attendance. The adults and the kids had a great time. Some had great scores and some not so great. I for one fall into the later. As a matter of fact, I purchased my own ball last year only to find that it has lowered my average score by 30 points. Not much more to say on that topic. I want to congratulate Ivan Padron as the 2022 Student of the Year recipient. I must say he earned that award!! Renshi Rick

Lets congratulate Ivan Pavon and Patrick Seay for successfully passing their yellow belt exams on Friday. I'm sure it was an eye opener for them! They both did an awesome job. I also want to thank everyone for their great support with these tests. Special thank you's go out to Professor Tom Holste,
Renshi Randy Smith, Sensei's Jesus Chavez, Roberto Pichardo, Steve Hall, Carlos Ayala and Francisco "Paco" Guerrero who made the trip from the east coast. I also want to thank Sensei's Eric Masino who owns the facility we operate from and Sensei Dale Cannon "Newest Niseido Member" for being there. Lastly, special thank you's to both Danny Ramos and Pedro Cruz who took most of the falls for Patrick and Ivan throughout the test.
