On Saturday, these 2 baby squirrels were found on the ground in a shopping plaza together. They are different sizes and ages, so we assume they must have found each other and stayed together for comfort during the hurricane.

The smaller baby had a deep tail laceration and may likely lose a portion of her tail, but other than that, they are in good shape and now in great care!

We have admitted 81 animals since the day after the storm, which is usually what we see in one week. The influx in wildlife has doubled and we are trying our best to save every animal that comes through our doors. Thank you to all the wildlife rescuers in the past couple of days!
