Beginner & Advanced Beginner Clinics

We’re offering a series of four one-hour clinics (lessons) focused on teaching and developing skills and in-game strategies through drills and game playing. (Sessions are limited to 8 participants, with a minimum of 4 participants). These clinics run for four weeks and are one hour per week.

Beginner This clinic is best suited for the never- ever played or the only tried playing with a friend. The clinic will cover the basics of the game- safety, grip, paddle positioning, dinking, serve/return, drop shot, game playing with scoring.

Advanced Beginner This clinic is best suited for the person who has only played a few times and feel like they are beginning to understand the game but would like to make sure they are doing it right. The objective of this clinic is to assist the participants with drills to improve their foundational skills and teamwork through court positioning.

Participants will learn Motion Pickleball Methodology for improving consistency with on court awareness to win more points effectively. Two additional clinics now offered at Veteran's Park!

BEGINNER CLINIC Mondays 8am - 9am
Designed to help players understand scoring, rules and techniques in order to get out on a court and play. Techniques include: how to grip the paddle, how to hit serves and returns properly, what “ready position” is. Instructors will inform players on the proper court attire for safety of all players.

2.5 SKILLS & DRILLS Wednesdays 8am - 9 am
The 2.5 player knows basic rules such as “two bounce” and scoring. Can hit 3/10 d***s, serves, returns, volleys and groundstrokes. Understands how to grip the paddle and dresses in proper court attire. Techniques and strategies that will be taught: the kitchen rule, good technique in all shots, strategy on lobbing or driving the 3rd shot, consistency, etc.
