You’ll never regret not drinking🙂

Recently playing with mocktail creations mostly inspired by and her 300+ days of being completely alcohol-free and feeling all of the benefits zero proof living has to offer like better sleep quality, healthy skin, faster workout recovery, better digestion and just all around less inflammation in the body.

I thought it would be interesting to go to KW (a place heavily centered around drinking, bar-hopping, doing the “Duval Crawl”) and not have any alcohol this time around! It turns out that being on the island was still very relaxing and fun, and with our fun alcohol-free drink creations you never really felt left out or deprived. You just feel GOOD.
Not to mention when you’re not consuming the carbs/sugar/calories from cocktails, there’s more room for dessert like chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick🤪

It’s true what they say: waking up the day after not drinking comes with zero regrets, and all of the energy and mental-clarity!

high protein full day of food because protein is our bff🤝🏼

Did you know you can eat to reach your goals without tracking calories or macros?? (whatever your goals may be: weight-loss, weight-gain, fat-loss, muscle-building, athletic performance, improving overall health… the possibilities are endless!)

My current goals are first athletic performance (so I can have fun at the gym and push it during my workouts to get stronger!) and second maintaining a kinda-sorta lean physique while keeping up with being a breastfeeding mama!

1️⃣For these desired outcomes I focus all my meals and snacks around PROTEIN, normally from animal sources like eggs, meat, and fish or dairy, plus the occasional protein shake or bar to help me when I’m in a rush or craving something sweeter.

2️⃣After making sure protein is the star of the show, I add in some carbohydrates because I’ve been quite active lately between walking the dogs, hitting the gym and being a coach. My faves are rice, oats, whole grain bread, potatoes and starchy vegetables.

3️⃣Throughout the day I’m using olive oil or grass fed butter to cook or add on top to add flavor and yumminess so there’s my fat! Sometimes I’ll have fat via some raw nuts/seeds with dark chocolate or some peanut butter.

That’s the current routine over here, in a nutshell!

‼️NEW SMALL GROUP SCHEDULE ALERT‼️

Ladies!!! My small groups have now grown from 2X a week to 3X!! Due to many requests for a “late nite” small group time for all of you who get off of work around 5-6ish, I added one on Friday nights!😏🥰

📆UPDATED SCHEDULE:

🔹WEDNESDAYS— 8:30AM
🔹FRIDAYS— 8:30AM
🔹FRIDAYS— 7:15PM

Small Group Workout, for 45-minutes, including just 2-4 peeps, which means more 1-1 attention and personalized workouts for YOU specifically and YOUR GOALS!!😎💪🏼

MAJOR FAT LOSS MYTHS BUSTED😳

Totally inspired by the one and only .matranga to do a post like this!! This info is very simple but very important. Don’t underestimate the basics!

1️⃣Fat makes you fat. NOT! Truth is: overconsumption of any macronutrient (protein, carbohydrates, or fat) will cause you to store extra body fat. The biggest reason fat gets a bad wrap is because it contains more calories per gram when compared to protein or carbohydrates. Healthy fats are necessary for our brain health, gut health, and the health of our very cell walls🦠!

2️⃣Cardio is the best way to lose fat. NOPE! Actually, a combination of HIIT and LISS cardio and weight training in your weekly routine is the best recipe to speed up fat loss. Hours on the treadmill or elliptical or bike won’t do it for you! Instead you’ll most likely start to lose precious muscle mass (acquiring more lean muscle = more calories go to feeding that muscle versus getting stored as excess body fat).🏋️‍♀️

3️⃣Fat turns into muscle/or muscle turns into fat. NOO. Fat is fat, and muscle is muscle. Being lazy and not working out won’t make your muscle turn into fat, just like working out daily won’t turn your body fat into muscle magically! Building muscle by working out, and eating your protein supports fat loss, that’s it!💪🏼
