Swamp Buggy Races

Swamp Buggy Races are more than a sport- they are a family tradition as shown here by father and son racing duo Steve Turner, Sr. and Steve Turner, Jr. One of the things that makes our racing community so special are the generations of families who continue the tradition. Several of our current teams feature families competing together, passing down their knowledge, skills, and passion for the sport.

Steve Turner Sr. pilots Turner Loose in the Pro-modified class since 1986 while his son Steve Turner, Jr. is a newer addition to the races in an Air-Cooled Jus Havin Fun! We would also like to thank Trica Turner for providing the photo. Tricia is the wife and mother to our racing duo as well as a former competitor in Ladybug.

We are proud to celebrate the families who keep this tradition alive and inspire the next generation. Here’s to the fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, and everyone who makes our Swamp Buggy Races family stronger every season!
