Why Proper Performance Training Matters for Youth Athletes

Youth sports have become more competitive than ever before, and young athletes are being asked to move faster, react quicker, and perform at higher levels year-round. Program Spotlight: Dry Needling

Are you familiar with acupuncture? Well, what about dry needling?

Dry needling is a modern western medicine technique that uses needles that are inserted to a specific location through the skin into areas of the muscle called trigger points. Trigger points are a taut band of skeletal muscle that can be tender, sore, and may cause pain to the touch as a result of some trauma done to the area.

The thin filiform needles pe*****te the skin, stimulating the tissue, and breaking up any restriction in the specific area of the muscle.
