Please see Triple V Ranch Equestrian Campground for more information about camping….
Please everyone with horses on Newman Drive call FPL and tell them there are poles and power lines still down off Newman and Stable way, we still have no power and horses are stranded there without water, maybe 100 horses…. This is an extreme emergency and they should give us priority. I got right through to them just now, but more reports they get the better.
This includes Benchmark Equestrian, M&H, Everglades Ranch, Hiten Ranch, Belle Meade. Many of us are running on generators but only to a very limited extent….
Thank you!
Hi… looking for someone to haul 2 horses and a donkey to Gainesville between the 18th to the 30th. Any referrals appreciated…
So, hi all. Thanks for all who have contacted me to check up. I have been out of the county for the last 20 days and had only spotty access to internet, mostly none.
So now that I’m back I’d like to give you all an update. We were very lucky out at the ranch. We weren’t affected by the surge that caused the flooding and all the damage on the coast. We have had a lot of rain over the summer and with the storm we had some flooding, ie standing water on the ground. No structures were damaged, there were some trees down, a few on fences, debris from palm fronds, etc. We lost power but have generator to get water to the horses and a fantastic group on the ground getting horses taken care of and getting cleanup done. Power should be back on Wednesday.
All the horses were high and dry and safe tucked away in their stalls. The Benchmark crew are back to riding and training in the arenas.
There are 3 RV’s in the camp that are fine, no damage.
The water is receding rapidly out here, and downtown as well. Most of the surge was during high tide and by the next day the water downtown was gone, but left mud and debris. People are busy cleaning up. Those low buildings should be open by mid November. Most of the new buildings that are elevated didn’t have damage.
5th and 3rd look pretty good. The pier will take a while to restore but it is NOT GONE!
We are open, operating, cleaning up, waiting for power, and then our seasonal boarders are all coming back end of October beginning of November. We’ll hit the trails and post some videos. Some locals have been out already and its wet and has some trees down but its rideable. The hearsay that it may stay closed might refer to the campground on the east side of the park.
It will dry up quickly since the weather has changed to cooler and drier air.
We will be open and operating for camping this season for sure…..

The Naples Riding School has opened at the Triple V Ranch by renowned trainers McKrell and Christian Baier. They will be here this weekend for lessons on their well trained school horses. Attached is the brochure. Call or text McKrell for more information. Please note that The Triple V is located in East Naples right off exit 101 on I 75 only one mile east of the intersection of Davis Blvd. and Collier Blvd (951) , centrally located within short drive from from North Naples, Marco Island, downtown Naples, East Naples, and western Golden Gate Estates. We invite you to come and have a tour of the facility, meet the trainers, and audit the lessons.
I wish I could merge this page with The Equestrian Center of Naples (and keep this name), my old page, but I’ve been unable to so far. One because the names are not similar, and two because I had already changed the name of the other page twice! If anyone has any tips I’d appreciate them!
