I don’t know if you know this about me but I trained with Lou (my oldest) many moons ago πŸŒ™ and we received our black belts together . It was really kinda magical bc it was us growing, learning discipline and having fun together. We’ve always been close but I think it helped bring us even closer.

I trained with Alex from Impact Martial Arts Naples and Lou and I have been back at it with him for the last several months. It’s kicking my a$@ but I love it! πŸ’―πŸ’―βœ¨βœ¨

It challenges me and it’s really making a difference in my body.. especially since I struggle with hormone issues.

If your looking for something different to do, I highly recommend him, we have a great group of gals and have so much fun while burning around 700-1000 calories in an hour. βœ…βœ…

Once you get the hang of it, then try to make these kicks higher, faster, and stronger

Keep your hands up, keep your toes pointed up, and keep your leg straight - good technique is important

Your mom already does so much every week - give her the chance to relax while you help out!

Does your mom love chocolate, or cake, or cookies? She would surely appreciate it if you brought her something yummy to enjoy!

Moms LOVE hugs - so give her a bunch of them all day!!!

No matter what you choose, make time to connect with your mom and show her that you care. That's the most important and thoughtful thing!

One of the most fun martial arts training weapons is the nunchucks! It's exciting to learn all of the spins, strikes, and exchanges from one hand to the other. πŸ₯‹

In this video, you can learn about the idea that punching can work at lots of different angles and directions

No matter how you punch, you still need to have a proper fist, good wrist alignment, and a powerful line of delivery
