Napoleon Flag Football

Tomorrow is the last game of our season! Come out to support these young athletes compete at NHS practice field at 8:30am. It is Red vs Navy for the championship game and Grey vs White for the 3rd place game!

We will have a punt, pass, and kick competition after the games! Go Cats! 🏈 🏆

Flag football for 3rd and 4th graders starts this Saturday at NHS Practice Field from 10-11:30. We will have a skills session to be able to split teams up before the season starts. Practices will then be on Tuesdays and games on Saturdays starting in September.

We would love to see as many kids (boys and girls) come out as possible! Go Cats!!

All 3rd/4th Flag football games will be played at the NHS practice field tomorrow Sat Oct 19th. We have been bumped due to a varsity soccer tournament game that was scheduled earlier this week

Tomorrow all 3rd/4th grade flag football players are invited to the Varsity football game at 6:30pm to watch the team warmup as well as help form the tunnel for the team to take the field before the game!

We will meet at Charles Buckenmeyer Stadium at the entry tunnel under the bleachers and coaches will direct the players from there. Go Cats!

Championship game is this Saturday at Buckenmeyer Stadium! It’s Napoleon White vs Napoleon Black at 10am!

Napoleon Silver vs Napoleon Gray for the 5th place game and Napoleon Navy vs Napoleon Red for the 3rd place game. Both games start at 8:30am and will also be played at Buckenmeyer Stadium.

Before the championship game, at approximately 9:45am, we will have a punt, pass, and kick competition where we will crown a 3rd grade champion and a 4th grade champion. Each team will have one representative from each grade and the representatives will be determined at practice on Wednesday. Go Cats!!

This water bottle was left at the 10am game this past Saturday. If it is yours, please let us know!

We will be welcoming the varsity team onto the field on October 18th for their home game against Bowling Green!

All players are welcome to form the tunnel for the players entrance onto the field! Please have your player wear their jersey to the game and arrive at 6:45 under the bleachers near the player entrance.

For those watching today, a few simple rules to make some sense of what you are watching:

-Game is 75 minutes long, running clock.
-Each team has 4 plays to get a 20 yard first down. If they make it to the 20, they get a fresh set of downs and must enter the end zone in their next 4 plays
-If unsuccessful in achieving First down or TD, possession changes and the other team starts at the 40
- TDs count as 6 with a chance for 1 or 2 point conversion on the next attempt

3rd/4th grade flag football games start tomorrow morning! We get started at 8:30 at the NHS practice field. Please have your son to the field 30 minutes before their game. Go Cats!!
