LOCAL COACHES + SCHOOL BASKETBALL PROGRAMS 🏀

JGB wants to work alongside local schools to help strengthen basketball programs throughout our area.

We know every program is different, which is why we’re not looking to offer one cookie-cutter package.

Instead, we want to hear from Athletic Directors, coaches, and program leaders about what would actually be helpful.

That could look like:

* Team training
* Player development
* Facility access
* Preseason preparation
* Youth + feeder clinics
* School skills academies
* Custom programming built around your program

Our goal is simple: support the coaches already doing the work, give athletes more opportunities to develop, and help local programs grow.

Young players don’t need basketball made harder. They need basketball made appropriate for where they are right now. 🏀

That means lower hoops for our youngest division, fewer players on the court, more touches with the basketball, equal playing time, and coaches helping kids understand the game as they play.

The goal isn’t to find out who the best 6-year-old basketball player is.

The goal is to help a whole bunch of kids love playing basketball and want to keep getting better. đź’™

That’s what the JGB K–3 Developmental Basketball League is all about.

We’re ready for another Sunday of competition, growth, and a whole lot of basketball at JGB. 💙

Here’s the Week 2 schedule for the Easy Living, LLC JGB Fall 3-on-3 League:

5–6 Boys: 2:00–3:00 PM
5–6 Girls: 3:30–4:30 PM
7–12 Girls: 5:00–6:30 PM
7–12 Boys: 7:00–8:30 PM

We don’t want our youngest players spending an hour trying to figure out what they’re supposed to be doing in a game.

We want to teach them first. 🏀

That’s the idea behind the JGB K–3 Developmental Basketball League.

Every Sunday includes 25 minutes of skill instruction, a quick transition into teams, and then 30 minutes of developmental game play.

Players learn skills like dribbling, passing, footwork, shooting and game fundamentals—and then immediately get the chance to figure out how to use them in a real basketball game.

Learn it. Practice it. Play it.

That connection is where so much development happens. đź’™ And because this league is built specifically for our youngest players, beginners are absolutely welcome.

Maybe they love basketball…but still aren’t quite sure where to stand.

Maybe they’re learning to dribble without watching the ball.

Maybe a full competitive league feels like a big jump right now.

That’s why we created this. 💙🏀

The JGB K–3 Developmental Basketball League gives young players a place to learn the game while playing the game.

Each Sunday starts with 25 minutes of skill instruction, followed by developmental game play where they can immediately put those skills into action.

No expectation that they already know everything. Just instruction, repetition, encouragement, equal playing time and lots of opportunities to build confidence.
