A picture is worth a thousand words… Today was one of the proudest days in Nashua XC history. We had 2 boys qualify for state (charlie and zander), Ryder joined Coach Cap in changing colors (hes still not going to put on face paint like her), our first full boys team score since 2014, and 6 junior high runners (4th-7th) that ran their hearts out. The icing on the cake was the Nashua track and XC legend Lane Nickles being there cheering on the kids. We saw not only parents cheer kids on, but also the high school kids on the team mentor the junior high team all day. These kids are the definition of “trust the process”

*Races run in order. One race at a time.

For runners in grades 7-12, bus will leave Nashua at 7;45 am.

For runners in grades 4-6th parents will be in charge of transportation.

Every good program starts with traditions passed down… 5 of our running club draft picks got on the bus to head to our Nashua Cross Country and Track programs holy grounds.. Powerhouse hill. They got off the bus and I asked, “are we going to try “the hill or are we going to head to Kiwanis?” Every single one of them puffed their chests up and exclaimed “THE HILL!!” It was awesome to see and was even cooler to see when they all did the hill then wanted to do sprints up the hill when the high school started their work outs. The upperclassmen were not only “tolerating” them, but were being great role models to them, but making them feel like “the hill” was theirs too. “Trust the process” was “running wild” as Hulk Hogan used to say 😆
