I’ve been thinking about the women who are meant to fill the last couple of spots on our Algarve retreat. 🤍

Maybe you’ve been taking care of everyone and everything for so long that you’re craving a few days where you don’t have to be the one holding it all together.

Maybe life has been changing lately, and you’re somewhere between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming.

Or maybe nothing is “wrong” at all… you just know you need something for YOU. A little adventure. New friendships. Beautiful conversations. Good food and w**e. Laughter. Ocean air. Space to think, breathe, dream and reconnect with yourself.

That’s really what this retreat has become.

A small group of women coming together in the Algarve, each with her own story and season of life. We’ll let the conversations, the energy of the group, and what we’re each needing in the moment help guide some of our deeper experiences together.

There will be beautiful places to explore, meaningful connection, reflection, a LOT of laughter, and the kind of space we rarely give ourselves in everyday life.

Beyond excited to share this space, this energy, this growth, and so much joy with the incredible women who have said YES to themselves.

Looking back, one of the most transformative decisions I've ever made was simply saying yes to myself.

Over the years, I've attended many retreats, each with a different purpose. Every single one has given me something I didn't even know I needed. Rest. Clarity. Friendship. Healing. Confidence. Laughter. Perspective.

People would often tell me, "You look amazing! What are you doing?" They saw something different on the outside, but what had really changed was within. My body was simply reflecting what my soul had experienced, the care, the lightness, the permission to pause, to breathe, and to reconnect with myself.

I've learned that while vacations are wonderful, retreats offer something entirely different.

A vacation helps us escape our lives for a little while.

A retreat helps us return to our lives differently.

The memories last just as long, but the impact reaches far beyond the trip itself. The friendships, the insights, the renewed energy, the courage to make changes, the feeling of remembering who you are... those gifts continue long after you've unpacked your suitcase.

I've watched friends and family celebrate my experiences from afar, wishing they could feel what I felt, yet hesitating to give themselves the same gift. I understand. Investing in ourselves can feel uncomfortable at first. But some experiences simply can't be explained, they have to be lived.

That is one of the reasons Joy and I felt so called to create these retreats. To create a space where women feel seen, supported, celebrated, and reminded that they are worthy of the same love and care they so freely give to everyone else.

To the beautiful women joining us in Portugal... thank you for choosing yourselves. I truly cannot wait to witness your journey.

Today is a very special day.

Not only because registration for our very first Algarve Retreat is officially OPEN...
..but because today, I celebrate my 50th birthday.

As I step into this new decade, I can't think of a more meaningful way to celebrate than by opening the doors to something that has lived in my heart for so long.

This retreat was never created to be just another trip.

It was created for women who are ready to laugh a little louder, explore a little farther, build genuine friendships, embrace new adventures, experience a beautiful culture, and reconnect with the woman they are becoming.

The woman who knows she deserves moments of joy.
The woman who says yes to experiences she'll remember forever.
The woman who understands that investing in herself isn't selfish, it's life-giving.

I truly believe some of life's greatest gifts aren't things...
They're the people we meet, the places that change us, the conversations that stay with us, and the courage to say yes before we feel completely ready.

So today, as I celebrate 50 years of living, learning, growing, and dreaming, I'm inviting a small group of incredible women to celebrate life with us in Portugal.

Yes to herself.
Yes to making space.

Every woman who joins this retreat inspires me. It takes courage to choose yourself in a world that constantly asks you to choose everyone else first.

I'm so excited to witness the beautiful transformations, friendships, and memories we'll create together in Portugal.
