The 2024 Juneteenth Freedom Day Ride in Nashville is an exciting event organized by Bike For Equality, and NDOT is a proud sponsor of the event!

🚲🚶Come out to Frankie Pierce park on Saturday, June 15 beginning at 7 a.m. NDOT staff will be there to talk all things WalknBike! We'd love to engage with you on sidewalk and bikeway projects coming to a street near you!

We are happy to be working with the Music City Juneteenth Freedom Day 5k Run/Walk/Dance team! Go run, walk, and dance in the fun 5K event at Shelby Park in historic East Nashville Tennessee. Race Day is Wednesday June 19th. Race starts at 7:30 am. Our events are on different days, so no stress about only trying to make one when you can go to both! It’s an amazing group of runners putting on this event and it will be such a great time.
