When you stress eat, you're using food to solve a problem. โ€จโ€จOnly it's a problem that food can't solve.ย 

Hereโ€™s a wild idea: Give yourself permission to eat whatever you want, but you HAVE to pay attention to why youโ€™re eating those specific foods.

Use it as a learning experience.

Once youโ€™re aware of the trigger, decide what to do about it.ย

"Isn't it just easier to not eat certain foods?"ย 

For some people, in some situations, at certain points in their journey: yes.

But this choice to abstain doesnโ€™t have to be permanent. Once they develop a range of habits, many people can shift from abstaining from certain foods to having them in moderation.ย 

The point? There are different strategies that can help you get to your goalsโ€ฆ without making you feel bad along the way.ย
