Hereโs a wild idea: Give yourself permission to eat whatever you want, but you HAVE to pay attention to why youโre eating those specific foods.
Use it as a learning experience.

For some people, in some situations, at certain points in their journey: yes.
But this choice to abstain doesnโt have to be permanent. Once they develop a range of habits, many people can shift from abstaining from certain foods to having them in moderation.ย
