My goals for the past few months haven’t had anything to do with weight loss.

To be honest I haven’t had any goals for my body.

It’s been awhile since I let myself just BE and not care about the way I looked.

And it’s shown that even though I haven’t been dieting or working out excessively I can still maintain and EVEN look toned by just simply following my regular habits.

Take things one day at a time and keep up with your habits!

It truly does go a LONG way!!

“Sarah how the hell are you so confident?!?!”

I KNOW WHAT THE _____ I WANT AND DESERVE AND I DON’T ALLOW ANYTHING LESS IN MY LIFE.

Ha that’s basically it.

Plus alittle of “fake it til you make it”.

Once I stopped letting people treat me like 🗑 and cut off access they had to my personal life, I felt so much happier.

And with that distance, I grew my confidence.

It wasn’t easy.

I questioned myself a lot and felt extremely lonely.

But on the other side of that I started growing.

I started loving my personality and the side of myself I had pushed down for so long.

I started celebrating my body at all of its sizes.

I stopped looking to men for validation and for instant gratification on my looks and personality.

I stopped comparing myself to other women and WISHING I looked like them or “if only I had their life, I’d be confident and happy”.

I did things alone and LOVED every second.

I finally realized that I DESERVED to feel confident.

STOP trying to do it all

Pick things you can do everyday that make you feel fulfilled

Set a realistic schedule for workouts

ENJOY foods and drinks

Don’t have your goal be “weight loss”

What’s it gonna take???

To finally stop the damn cycle you’re in?

You’re tired.

You feel stuck in your day to day tasks.

You hate the diet your on.

You hate working out every damn day.

THEN WHY THE HELL ARE WE DOING THINGS WE DONT ENJOY???

You still can achieve your goals and see changes without feeling like life is dragging on.

First things first, STOP having your goal be solely “to lose weight”.

Start making small goals that will eventually get you to weight loss.

Things like

One or two walks a week

One balanced meal each day

5 cups of water a day

Start small and build from there.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN WORKING WITH A COACH WHO CARES!!!!

1. You should either have a call, multiple texts, an intake form, or FaceTime with your coach. They should ask about your goals, mental health, underlying conditions, past diets and exercise experience. They’ll want to get to know YOU and YOUR struggles. NOT put you into a category of just another client who wants to lose weight.

2. They LISTEN!!
When you tell them something isn’t working or that you’re not feeling okay about something on the plan, they should LISTEN and either adjust or work WITH you to find a solution. You deserve a plan that fits YOU. You deserve to be heard and have action come from it.

3. They are asking questions that not only have to do with your diet and exercise.
If your coach is asking about your sleep, stress, work, p**p, and energy…they are often looking for hormonal or gut related issues that could be stalling weight loss. So instead of just basing your progress on your eating and workouts, they are taking the time to make sure all the bases are covered in order for YOU to effectively lose weight.

4. They have open communication with you.
No one wants a coach they can ONLY talk to once a week. A coach that allows extra calls, texts, or advice throughout the week (within their respected boundaries) is giving as many opportunities for YOU as a client to be the best you can.

5. They give you resources and tips to make things “easier” for you.
I say that in quotations because I know it isn’t easy to lose weight. But when a coach is giving you an example of what a meal could look like INSTEAD of just saying “here’s your macros eat based on those” when you don’t even know what a macro is. A coach who cares will bridge the gaps for you and set up resources to help you with ideas for meals, signs and symptoms of hormone/gut issues, and overall tips on navigating this new normal of yours. They help you become CONFIDENT in your ability to execute the plan.

16 yrs old ➡️ 24 yrs old

One thing I hear from my clients often is….

“I just wanna get back to my pre _____ weight.”

“If I could get back to the weight I was 5 years ago I think I’d be happy with that”

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!!!!

We cannot keep comparing our current self with our old self!

Sometimes it’s UNHEALTHY to be a previous weight.

Sometimes you gained muscle (which obviously would be weight as well).

Sometimes you just gotta throw out the damn scale all together and focus on the way you feel and the changes you see in the mirror.

Once I stopped focusing on that lower number, I started embracing where I’m currently at.

And I actually stopped weighing myself all together and focused on the way I felt and looked!!

YOU DESERVE TO EMBRACE YOURSELF AT ALL STAGES!

Don’t get stuck in the comparison game.

It messes with your self image.

It makes you wanna change who you are naturally and that’s such a dark hole to fall into.

Social media isn’t real life.

Social media is a highlight reel.

Social media is often fake.

I really hope you give yourself some grace and embrace yourself naturally!



( I wanna make sure I add in here that although the second pic is very much so ZERO editing at all. I DO sometimes edit my photos with filters, settings, and get rid of blemishes/brighten my eyes. YES I still look 100% how I look in person and it in no way majorly alters my looks. Editing isn’t all bad. But when it alters your whole ass body and face, that’s where I say…NAH THAT AINT IT)

Having a hard time sticking to a meal plan or workouts??

That’s a HUGE sign that it might not be the right fit for you!

On a meal plan you should:

👍🏼Feel satisfied (not hungry)
👍🏼Still having your fav foods
👍🏼 It should fit your lifestyle
(if you’re a busy person macros might not be it for you)
👍🏼NOT cut out food groups

On a workout program you should:

👍🏼Be able to take rest days
👍🏼Not feel like s**t afterwards
👍🏼Push yourself but not always
👍🏼Be progressing at your own pace
👍🏼Not feel guilty if you miss a workout
