Fantastic Day of Racing at our local Trail for the inaugural Dragon’s Back XC Race at Scales Lake Park in Boonville, IN. Race Organizers did a great job with this event!

Trailheadz Racing represented very well!!

Juniors (18u - Big category and age range):

Barnabas - 1st
Jensen - 2nd
Cannon - 4th
Jack - 5th

Base Men:

Jeremy - 2nd Place

Elite/Expert Men:

Joseph - 2nd Place

The SLP main loop/race loop is approximately 8 miles long and is full of all types of cross-country riding: technical single track, punchy hills with roots and rocks, longer climbs, flat sections, bermed sections, and quick transitions on turns and climbs because of the unique spoil bank terrain.

This past weekend we competed in various events at Bikeapalooza at Griffin Bike Park. Short Track on Friday, Dual Slalom and Pump Track cancelled on Saturday due to weather, and the DINO cross country race on Sunday! The weather was up and down like a yo-yo. Bummer that Saturday’s events got canceled, but the team had a great showing:

Short Track:
Jensen - 1st
Jack - 2nd

XC:
Jayden - 1st base 15-18
Jensen - 2nd base 11-14
Jack - 3rd junior 11-14

This past weekend, a number of us participated in the DINO races at Muscatatuck Park in North Vernon, Indiana The courses were very challenging due to some recent rain and subsequent slick rocks and mud. Our team persevered though, and came up with some really good results!
