In the new issue of Hope magazine, Dr. Meg Rush reflects on her retirement after 41 years at Vanderbilt Health. She passed the baton to Jamie Phillips, MHA, who succeeded Rush as president of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt on Jan. 12.
“I am truly honored to join this remarkable team of professionals committed to providing compassionate care and advancing innovative research,” Phillips said. “My goal is to carry [Rush’s] legacy forward while working alongside all of you to reimagine care, research and innovation for the children and families we serve.”

Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, services donated and volunteer hour given helps make a difference. We are proud to support Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and the children and families they serve. Thank you for helping make this impact possible.

Today, we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
Because of their sacrifice, we are able to gather, celebrate tradition, and enjoy the freedoms that make days like the Iroquois Steeplechase possible.
We honor them today and always.

Some race stories are bigger than the finish line.
Sean Clancy captured the emotion, history and heart behind Zabeel Champion’s Grade 1 Calvin Houghland Iroquois win in a way only he can.
It’s a story worth reading more than once.
