Fall is getting busy at Rose Hill! We have two fundraising shoots on the schedule this week, a wedding celebration Saturday evening, and some BIG news about what’s ahead.

🎯 THIS WEEK’S HOURS & COURSE CLOSURES

We will be operating our normal hours this week with the following exceptions:

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
Both the Creek Course and Quail Course will be CLOSED until approximately 1:00 PM while we host the EMC 4-H Fundraiser Shoot.
Both courses will reopen to the public following the event.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19
The Creek Course will be CLOSED until approximately 1:00 PM for the Holly Grove Baptist Church Sporting Clays Shoot.
The Quail Course will remain available during the morning, and the Creek Course will reopen following the fundraiser.

The entire Sporting Clays facility will close at 4:00 PM Saturday for a wedding celebration.

🏆 THE ROAD TO ROSE HILL HAS BEGUN!

We are incredibly excited to announce that Rose Hill Sporting Clays will host the 2027 North Carolina State Sporting Clays Championships!

📅 September 9–12, 2027

We have a lot planned between now and next September as we prepare to welcome shooters from across North Carolina and beyond to Rose Hill.
This is going to be a special one.

Our next registered shoot kicks off Black Friday Weekend – November 27 & 28!
Shoot Friday, Saturday, or make a weekend out of it with:

🎯 50-Bird FITASC
🔥 100-Bird Super Sporting
🏆 100-Bird Main Event

All three events will be available to shoot Friday or Saturday, with the 100-Bird Main Event being squadded.

Registration and complete event details are coming soon!
No shopping carts. No leftovers. Just targets.

🧡 2ND ANNUAL ROSE HILL YOUTH CLASSIC
Presented by Hardee’s It’s coming back!

After a great inaugural event, we're excited to begin preparing for the 2nd Annual Rose Hill Youth Classic Presented by Hardee’s.

We are looking for youth shooting teams AND individual youth shooters to join us for a day dedicated to the next generation of shooting sports.

Coaches, parents, schools, 4-H programs, SCTP teams and youth shooting organizations—mark your calendars and start putting your teams together!

There is a lot happening at Rose Hill this fall, and even more coming in 2027.

🏆 THE ROAD TO ROSE HILL BEGINS! 🎯

First, we want to congratulate Hunter’s Pointe Sporting Clays on hosting another successful and amazing North Carolina State Sporting Clays Championship!

Putting on an event of this size takes a tremendous amount of work, and they once again provided a great championship experience for shooters from across North Carolina and beyond.

Now, it’s our turn — and we couldn’t be more excited.

Rose Hill Sporting Clays is proud to host the 2027 North Carolina State Sporting Clays Championship!

Over the next year, we’ll be working hard to create a championship worthy of North Carolina’s sporting clays community — great targets, great competition, great hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes State Championship week something shooters look forward to all year.

Congratulations to our very own Ray Page for shooting his first straight 25 Parcour during the 2026 NC State Sporting Clays Championship at Hunters' Pointe Sporting Clays.

The Johnston County Chapter Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation has ask the NC Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation - State Council to partner with them on there Youth Shoot they will be holding on 10/24/26 at Rose Hill Sporting Clays . We are always excited to host our friends at Edgecombe-Martin County EMC annual 4-H Sporting Clays Fundraiser.

We are even more excited that we are able to help them to continue to grow.

Don't wait and miss out on a great opportunity to have a great day on the range and support 4-H in Eastern NC.

🎯 GOOD NEWS — WE HAVE OPENED UP MORE TEAM SPOTS! 🎯

We have been absolutely blown away by the interest and support for our 2026 Edgecombe-Martin 4-H Sporting Clays Fundraiser! 🙌

We previously announced that all team spots were FULL, but because of the incredible response, we’ve decided to make a change!

To help accommodate more teams and keep the event moving efficiently, we will now be utilizing BOTH the front course AND the back course at Rose Hill Preserve. 🎯💥

That means we can now add more teams! 🙌

So if you missed out when we announced we were full, NOW IS YOUR CHANCE! We have spots available again, but they won’t last long!

Hello Shooters! 👋

It's finally here! Our biggest registered event of the summer is this weekend, and we're excited to welcome shooters from across the region for the Rose Hill Clash Circuit Shoot.

Please take note of this week's schedule before planning your visit.

🕒 Hours of Operation
Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday, August 29:
🏆 Rose Hill Clash Circuit Shoot
The range will be closed to general walk-in shooting as both courses will be dedicated to the registered shoot.

Sunday: 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM (Back to normal operating hours)

We're looking forward to an incredible day of sporting clays as we host one of our favorite events of the year.

The Rose Hill Clash brings together shooters from across the region for a day of outstanding target presentations, friendly competition, and great camaraderie. We can't wait to welcome everyone to the range!

📢 Important Reminder
Because of the tournament, we will not be open for general walk-in shooting on Saturday, August 29.

We'll return to our regular operating hours on Sunday and look forward to seeing everyone back on the course.
