Circuit of The Americas NASCAR Youth Series National races in TX recap! 🏁

First year in Seniors means new goals. The first goal of the season was to make an A Main.. ✔️ This time, we not only put 1 car into the A Main, we put 2 there ✔️✔️ , AND put our Light World Formula into finishing in the top 5 in the feature! Super proud of the progress Nash has made navigating in the world of seniors already. As a team, we put 5 out of our 7 cars into the A Mains. Congratulations to my little brother Crew Greenfield Racing for finishing 2nd in his A Main!! 🥈 Learning more and more each time we hit the track! 👊🏁

What a day… the day started out with some rough heats. Our best finish was a 3rd in our Sr. Honda. We ended up racing 14 races today! 🤪 The heat finishes put 2 in the b main and 2 in the c main. Then we transferred both c’s (Sr. Animal and Lt. 160) to the B’s. We then transferred 2 of our cars, the Sr. Honda and Lt. WF, to the A mains! Time to go rest and get ready for tomorrow! NASCAR Youth Series Nationals RECAP at Talladega Superspeedway:

As mentioned in my last post, our Heat race draws weren’t the best, starting us at a slight disadvantage..

I finished 🥈2nd🥈 in THREE out of my 4 Heat races… my first year in Seniors… at a NATIONALS race!!! A huge win for our team already. 🙂 However, not being able to get passing points from our draw really hurt, putting all 3 into B Mains (where usually it would put us straight to an A Main). Our Lt. World we had no expectations, as we just started this class for the 3rd time hitting the track with no way to practice since we lost our local track this year. I did ,however, transfer my Lt. 160 to the A main and finished 7th out of 36 cars in my first year! Another success for our team!

Dad and I both have some things to keep working on in this new class, but we see a huge potential for this team’s future!! 😎🏁

Rough starting positions and Heat numbers for the Greenfield Brothers Heat Races here in Talladega.. 😕 #1 in 4 of the 7 cars Heat Races 🤪 That’s ok though, that just means more to prove! ☺️💪

Fun Fact: in Heats, you want a higher number so you can get passing points PLUS your finishing positions. Also, if there is a tie for racers, the sooner Heat they’re in the better (example you want HEAT 1!)! Never judge someone’s success based on their finishing positions.. check out their heats and . Luck is huge in this game of racing and we’re ready to overcome luck! 🍀☺️🏁
