For those concerned about whether your Hog & Hominy Picked 9 made it to Columbus, the answer is yes! We completed a fine day of base ball where we tallied some aces and also had some aces tallied against us.
We have also picked up a wayward child, and have decided to call him bullpen. Against the better judgement of some, we have left him in the care of Taylormade.

On his way to the Ohio Cup, Little Brother fell victim to a riverboat gambler in the Queen City! So confident in his hand, he wagered his trusty horse Phoenix. Lets hope he sees a little bit more luck this weekend on the ball field!

Moss doesn’t always grow on the north side of trees… Yankee Bear and Swifty have left Knoxville on the road to Ohio armed with colloquialisms and a tenuous grasp of astral navigation. Are they traveling toward Ohio? Guess we will find out tomorrow.

While there is no regular league action this weekend, our Hog & Hominy Picked 9 are traveling north for the Ohio cup!
Mssrs Squatch, Ferrari and Taylormade set forth for Ohio and the famed Ohio Cup with high hopes, stout hearts, and one very questionable wagon.
They have successfully crossed neither the Ohio River nor “keeping the supplies dry” off the list.
The wagon is lost. The uniforms are soaked. But the Ohio Cup—or dysentery—awaits!

Maupinfest is one of the great events we get to participate in in the offseason. Join us September 26th for a day of music, dancing and of course, base ball!
It's not just old time music and dance.... Vintage Base Ball is BACK at Maupinfest! The Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball will be playing a game at 1:00 on the Big Beautiful Field. They may even let you take a few rounds at bat after the game!
