Meta Drive Manor is a free home haunt in South Nashville providing spooky fun and collecting canned goods for Second Harvest Food Bank on Halloween night.
Over two centuries ago, Thaddeus Sharpe and his wife Eleanor, Ellie for short, purchased land in a beautiful, open field for which to build a new home. After months of hard work, the house was complete and ready for the new family of three. Thaddeus and Ellie decided to call their home Meta Drive Manor to signify their new life together after the birth of their son. Although life seemed perfect, T
haddeus and Ellie were unaware that deep in the woods behind their home lived a witch who was not pleased that the new family now called the area home. You see, the witch, referred to by the townsfolk as Haegtesse or "Hag," had tended to this land for many years and didn't take kindly to having it taken from her. As punishment, Haegtesse placed a curse on Thaddeus, Ellie and their son. Thaddeus was sentenced to a lifetime of living in an old body, unaware that his wife and son were no longer a part of his world, their youth stolen by Haegtesse for her own selfish desires. Every Halloween, Haegtesse calls for the dead to rise, haunting Thaddeus' beloved Meta Drive Manor and the townsfolk who banished her years prior. It is said that during this time, many who venture too close to her cabin are never seen again. And those that are, well let's just say they don't return in human form...
