MEET THE PLAYERS ⚾️
Joe "da Fish" Lorusso (1st Baseman)
Fish has been playing Vintage base ball for 17 years! He originally played with The Somonauk Blue Stockings outside of Chicago. (Yes, he is OBSESSED with Portillo’s) After moving here about 5 years ago, it didn’t take him long to join the Cumberland team. Fish is a die-hard Cubs fan, with his favorite player being Ryne Sandberg. His favorite vintage base ball memory is when he played a game with both his daughters, came back from a large deficit, and ended up going 7 for 8. Fish says the funniest player on the team is Sharkbait!
Joe Lorusso: "His parents, sisters, wife, and daughters made him a good man. His dogs made him even better"

MEET THE PLAYERS! ⚾️
John "Caboose" Harmon (retired)
Caboose’s professional career includes 36 years with the Louisville & Nashville Railroad/CSX, in loss prevention. As a professional magician he performed throughout the southeast for about 40 years and is a lifetime member of the Nashville Magic Club.
He and his wife Cindy have 2 sons and 2 daughters and a barn full of grandkids and great grandkids.
Caboose’s first love is baseball. After moving to Nashville he was fortunate enough to be hired by the Sounds and spent 12 years with them. After he joined our league, he eventually found the Cumberland Club and shared co-captain duties with Ozark for multiple seasons.
Eventually, due to a nagging knee injury he decided after the 2019 season it was time to hang up the cleats. His years with the Cumberland Club were some of the best baseball experiences of his life. Great friendships were made on and off the field. He will always be a “Cumberlander”!!!!
