As we shift into the New Year (pun intended), want to take a minute to shout out Harpeth Bike Club and their generous members for the outpouring of donations this past year and beyond. From upgraded helmets on our youth mountain bike team's heads to upgrading our wheels and providing us with new tools to better train our young people as mechanics and safe riders (just to name a few things), we literally couldn't do it without you all. Thanks!

Want to highlight one of our incredible supporters! Back in 2022 Jim Keffer rode 3,784 miles (with 155,499 feet of climbing!) from Astoria, Oregon to Portland, Maine over the course of 45 days. Along with some support from Harpeth Bike Club , they raised over $14,000 (!) in donations for Oasis Bike Workshop and our youth programs. Harpeth Bike Club also just donated us a gently used Specialized Tarmac that our youth MTB team members can use to train in the off season. We quite literally could not do this without the generous support of you all! Thank you Jim and Amy.

Thrilled to be back at Pearl! These incredibly focused students are a few weeks into turning wrenches and rebuilding their bikes. Lots of mechanical problem solving. Good for our brains. Will wrap up just in time for a spring group ride 🌷🚲🪻

With great sadness we announce that Al is leaving their position at the bike workshop. To say that they have been a shining light for the past two years out in schools and communities for countless young people and adults would be a massive understatement. Al has brought vast improvements and organization to the program, so much so that we coined the term “Algistics”, constantly asking “what would Al do?” but WAY more importantly they have brought endless care, safety, creativity, fun and joy to the young people AND adults we work with. So happy to say that they will continue their work with in order to ensure safe spaces in the cycling community. Give them a follow. Best, Al 👋🥹❤️

Super proud of our MTB team at yesterday’s State Championship. Had a perfect camp out Saturday night and, despite some mechanical issues, the team had a good (and fun) final race. First time camping for a couple as well! We’ve got a few “kids” we will miss who are graduating HS this year. Incredibly proud of you Owen and Cristian! Thanks as always to both and teams for sharing space and helping us out!
