Join us for a Recreation Day at Vrindavan Forest, Chapel Hill TN for kayaking, swimming, prasadam and Kirtan. Come for all or what your schedule permits. Departure from Vrindavan Forest at 1030am to drive to Duck River take out point.

*What to expect*
+ Kayaking and Swimming on the Duck River - Guided by Henry Horton State Park Rangers. Kayaks and boyancy aids provided. Must be age 10 years and over.

+ 1.00 pm return to Vrindavan Forest for lunch prasadam.

+ Afternoon Kirtan with Sita and Dharma from YogaSoul.

+ Meaning of Vrindavan Forest explained by Gayatri Prabhu.

This uplifting workshop will help students discover how to turn their practice upside down. The workshop will begin with a brief discussion of inversion and arm balance fundamentals, followed by some strength
building and prep drills to reinforce the fundamentals, and then students will begin to test their skills with several arm balances, inversions and transitions. This workshop will provide students with the confidence and tools to incorporate inversions and arm balances into their daily yoga practice.

In this workshop, we will explore why Japa meditation is such a powerful Yoga tool/practice for focus, connection and joy, particularly as it is practiced in the Bhakti Yoga tradition. If you have a set of mala beads, please bring; if not, we have some you can borrow/purchase. No prior knowledge of Japa or Bhakti required to attend…..just curiosity!
