I told yall we had some exciting news to share!

Spring is here… that means football season and conditioning are right around the corner!

We are expecting an exciting season this year and can’t wait to update you.

Music City Bowl 2025! So proud of these kids and I hope they had fun tonight.
Let’s do it again next year!

MUSIC CITY BOWL INFO:

I have all the littles amd middles players and cheerleaders tickets. We're all in section 143 right by the tunnel. I'll send a link for parents to order. Recommended to order by Saturday.
The only rows available are the back. Everyone doesn't have to sit in the seats I got them if a parent wants to sit with their child but we don't want kids sitting in the back alone without an adult.

Music City Bowl - Tickets

We had a great night tonight wrapping up the season and great turn out despite the threat of bad weather. I hate we didn’t have a mic and the chaos giving out medals but we are so thankful for our kids and families for allowing your child to be a part of the Summertown Youth Football League!
If your child wasnt there tonight, please see your coach to get your medal.

Thanks to Mr. Ricky Mabry for allowing us to use the elementary gym and Shannon Barbone for giving up her practice time to allow us the last minute location change due to the weather threat.
We had a great season and we are looking forward to next year!

No one should have left with empty bellies tonight! In additon to parents bringing yummy soups, toppings, and desserts, Randy Scott donated all of the pizzas and the cooler full of drinks.

As soon as I find out info regarding Music City Bowl on Dec 30th, I will share to this page and to the coaches.

I know it was hard to hear in the gym so the summary is all football player and cheerleaders in the 7U and 9U age groups will have their ticket covered by the league. Parents and siblings, etc will have the opportunity to purchase tickets.
The info comes from The Music City Bowl and is usually MUCH closer to the game so as soon as I have it, I will share it.

Our 7U and 9U are playing in the championship on Saturday in hopes of shutting down their UNDEFEATED season (2 seasons in a row)!!!

Medal ceremony will be Friday evening, Nov 7th at 5:30 at Shaffer Field. We will have a soup potluck for players, cheerleaders, and families to follow.

Asking
7U to bring a crockpot full of your favorite soup
9U to bring cheese, sour cream, crackers, Bowls and spoons.
12U: bring desserts and canned drinks

Everyone needs to bring chairs or a blanket. The kids should wear tennis shoes and their uniform top. They usually run around and play ball during dinner.

We will turn in pads and helmets this day as well. Coaches are responsible for helping ensure all helmets and pads are returned.

I appreciate all of y'all's help this season. We couldn't do it without you!

I will make an even for medal ceremony. Hoping to see everyone there and celebrate this season with the kids.

We had the sweetest little homecoming today. I enjoyed hearing the kids hobbies and how long they have been playing ball. What a great group of kids we have!!
